A/N: Moodboard for this chapter is up on my tiktok @lavenderrevolt :)
The rest of the car ride with Harry had been uneventful and we didn't exchange any words when I was dropped off first at my apartment. Jay noted that he would be at my place to get me around four.
"There you are!" A voice screeches as I swing open my heavy front door.
My heart rate spike and let out a sequel at the figure sitting at my kitchen counter.
Tia.
"Oh my god, what are you doing here?" I breathe out, it wasn't like her to swing by uninvited unless she was having a fight with her new roommate.
"Hello to you too, sweets. Kelsey is being a major bitch."
It wasn't even nine in the morning and I'm pretty sure that she had a mimosa in the champagne flute she was holding.
"I love you, truly I do, Tia," I begin, "but I've been up for over twenty-four hours and I need some sleep. I have to be up by three, I have a fitting for the premiere."
"Can I crash the fitting?" Her voice excited as she takes an entirely way to large gulp of her orange cocktail.
"As long as you let me sleep," I bargain, trudging quickly to my room before there could be any other interruptions and closing the black-out curtains. Vaguely remembering to set my alarm clock.
"Up, up," Tia chirps, ripping the comforter away from my body and bringing me out of a nearly heavenly sleep. My eyelids felt sealed shut and the bright light hitting me made me throw my arm over my eyes.
"Time check?"
"Two-fifty five, turn off your alarm before it could go off," Tia had already opened the blinds and looked like she had showered herself.
It was honestly a little gross but I didn't bother with a shower. I threw my hair up into an incredibly messy bun, a crew-neck hoodie that had the Harvard emblem, and a pair of white sneakers with bulky white socks. I was looking pretty 80's.
Tia didn't look much more put together than me. She was wearing black leggings, an oversized shirt, and some fluffy black slides.
My phone chirped, letting me know that Jay had arrived and for us to come join him. He stated that there were no fans or paparazzi near.
As we enter the parking garage, we are met with an extravagant Bentley town-car. The typical black SUV nowhere in sight now. Jay had the backdoors open, they literally opened backwards. This car seemed too expensive to even look at, let alone sit in.
The contradiction of how ridiculously we looked like bums right now getting into a car that cost more than a house.
"This is fucking sick!" Tia exclaims, quickly walking up to the car and being stopped by Jay before she gets in.
"Uh, excuse you?" She remarks, raising her eyebrow at the large man stopping her from entering the vehicle.
"Tia, stop," I can't help but chuckle, "This is Jay, my bodyguard slash driver? Not really sure. Anyways, I don't even think this car is for us."
"Nice to meet you, Tia," He replies calmly, moving his larger body aside to guide her into the backseat of the luxury car.
"What's all this?" I ask Jay, suspicious that this comes with terms and conditions.
"Harry sent it as a 'thank you' for doing the shoot last minute," Jay shrugs, shuffling me into the back as well before shutting the door without another word.
