Japan, Present Time
Rin, Yukio, Rei~ Age 15
~
"Gouge out your eyes and watch me, old man! I'm gonna prove myself and show I can do this!" A hot headed teenager shouted at the front gate of an old monastery at an old man.
The old man sighed, "Not sure I can gouge my eyes out..."
The boy, determined to get the job at the store, started down the sidewalk. He was dressed in a suit and tie, despite what he usually wore. The others at the monastery where the boy lived wanted him to make a good first impression.
This boys name was Rin Okumura. He was the eldest twin, his brother Yukio Okumura. They lived their entire lives with an old exorcist man named Shiro Fujimoto. He was their 'father', so to speak.
Rin was tall, had a muscular frame, not to shabby looks, and hair that was black as night. Since he was hot headed, he usually got into fights, more often now then when he was younger.
I watched as he made his way down the street, narrowing my red eyes. His powers...I smell them...
After a while, Rin finally got to the store. He had simple tasks, yet managed to mess up every time. The only thing that he excelled at was making food. I sniffed the air as I stood behind one of the shelves. Delicious.
The manager walked up and I watched the scene take place. She took a bite of the food, and viola. Rin got hired. Lucky son of a bi- gun.
I sighed, quickly exiting the store. How come he could get a job so easily, while I have to secretly live off Shiro? Life ain't fair.
Especially since your powers came in when you were seven. He had a life till now.
Rolling my eyes, I stopped for a second, ignoring that pesky inner voice of mine. A little girl ran past me, trying to catch a scarf that was being taken by one of those...damn what were they called? It was a lower demon for sure, and it looked like some sort of monkey. For the billionth time today, I narrowed my eyes. This was going to ruin Rin's day for sure.
Timeskip~
Of course, I always ended up correct. Rin had gotten fired for chasing that lower demon around, destroying merchandise. Sort of funny besides the fact that the girl got injured. I had almost laughed when the manager told Rin, the blundering idiot, she didn't need a 'dangerous employee'.
Welp, looks like we've come to where the present time is. Or sort of.
(A/N: I'm upping my writing game hopefully at this point.)
It was night time now, and the city lights and cars flashed, blocking out the stars. Humans... pathetic. I was currently watching over Rin, who was slightly depressed about the fact he got hired, fired, and disappointed his family all in one day. He sat on a swing, silently, while I was on the monkey bars blending in with the darkness.
It wasn't my choice of night style, but as an eternal thanks to old man Shiro, I had to babysit. Babysit a guy that is my age! But, of course, Rin hadn't unlocked his blue flames yet but I could tell that small seal on that sword of his was breaking. Fantastic.
Movement caught my eye, and I saw the younger twin, Yukio, walking towards Rin. Yukio Okumura, the youngest twin, brown hair, brown eyes, two moles underneath his left eye, one on his chin, slightly rounded face, yet slightly taller than Rin. Could be the fact Rin slouches a lot, but hey I don't judge. The damn Yukio was lucky though, being Shiro's assistant for his exorcism stuff. Tch, kiss up.

Fiksi PenggemarThere once was a time when I didn't believe in demons. That was an easier time, before my life went into the ditch and burned. All their life, Rin and Yukio Okumura lived in (sort of) peace, with their 'father'. Shiro Fujimoto. He was the Paladin...
