Recap~

"Satan?!"

Guess you aren't such an ignorant idiot anymore, are you, Rin?

~

While more and more disgusting things started to form, Rin just stared at Shiro. Sometimes I swear he has no god damn brain. I sighed, quickly scurrying out of the dank place I was in, out of sight of Rin, to head back to the monastery.

Yukio had left for TCA earlier this morning, so no need to call him. I just need to warn the others at the monastery to fortify all the gates and holy water barriers. See, almost everyone knows me at the monastery, just not the twins. Quite funny, if you think about it. I snickered, putting on some speed down the sidewalk. No time for wise cracks.

A minute or so later, I came to the gates. Miyo, I think his name is, the big fat one, was outside sweeping the stones when I ran through the gates. He glanced up, halting his cleaning.

"Ah! Rei good to see you!" I huffed out a sigh, "No time for small talk, Miyo. Fortify the barriers, get the others. It's a code Blue situation."

The big man's tone immediately became serious and he nodded, hurrying off to tell the others. If I knew one thing, it's that these guys here that help Shiro, can be really useful.

I sped walked inside, as five men barreled past me to get to work. Everything seemed to be in order, and I breathed a sigh of relief. Outside, I heard Shiro and Rin come in through the gate and Shiro telling the others to hurry up and refortify everything. Time to hide! Shhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiii-

Shiro and Rin burst through the door, walking straight down the isle and going up to the podium. Rin looked like he sort of understood what was going on, but not completely. Seems Shiro had explained some things on the run here. I could tell that something was flashing in Rin's mind, and it wasn't good.

I silently growled, because my position was not very comfortable. Since I had barely any time to hide, I was currently hanging from the rafters of the sanctuary. My hands turned white from the strain, and a slight hiss escaped my mouth. Hurry up, Shiro.

Finally, Shiro and Rin disappeared under the pedestal and I dropped to the floor. "Damn... Rin better not screw up my day." One of the guys that had been fortifying the room chuckled, and I turned to narrow my eyes at him. He quickly stopped and got back to work.

After a few minutes, Shiro hurriedly exited the secret room under the pedestal, locking it behind him.

"You think that will keep him?" I sat on one of the pews, propping up my feet. I could already tell what Shiro's plan was; to keep Rin locked up until Mephisto arrived to take him to true cross, or Yukio got here.

Shiro sighed, fixing his glasses making the crosses swing. "Hopefully, for just enough." He began getting supplies from God knows where, like he was preparing for battle. Probably is. That Astaroth seemed a bit to eager at the name of Rin Okumura.

I got up and went to help him, and the other guy came into the sanctuary as well. No longer than a minute passed before I heard it.

Bang. Bang. Bang.

...

BANG.

I do believe we all grimaced, preparing ourselves for 'battle'. Miyo glanced at Shiro, "How many demons will be here?" Shiro shrugged, nonchalantly. "Ten plus." Miyo, Kio, and Hachi sweat dropped, turning back around. I rolled my eyes, idiots.
