My heart was beating so fast but then I remembered that I knew some martial arts so I felt a bit better and more confident.

As I approached the door with my quivering hands and then a thought popped in my mind I thought that it could be Dennis's gang but they were still in the store when I left so it couldn't be. I didn't want to go in but I had to. I stepped closer and closer to the door. My body got more shaky as I got closer.

As I got to the door I kicked it open and walked in like I was scared of nothing but really I was terrified.

As my heart felt like it would jump out my chest I saw a figure in the corner of my eye.

I was not sure how i was meant to react because my body did it before my mind even thought of it. I grabbed a broomstick from the corner and had it in my hands holding it SO tight waiting for the figure to show itself.

I was standing near the table I was further away from the door wo I could see who was there.

All of a sudden this arm wraps around my throat.

"You should regret saying what you said at school!"

I then knew what, or should I say who the figure was... DENNIS

"ANSWER ME! Say something."

"DENNIS! Please let go."
I start gasping for air as his arm gets tighter.

"No, not until you say yes! Come on SAY IT!"

"No I wont, let me go!"

He then turned me and pushed me up against the fridge.

"Come on Amy just say yes then I'll let go and we can be happy. Dont you want that... dont you want to be happy... with me?"

"You a**hole put me down NOW!"

I gathered all my strength and I used it.
I kicked him in the stomach to make him gasp for air and "put me down" he did. He grabbed on my back to try pull me down but I flipped him on his back on the floor and pinned him down.

"Listen here you should be in prison or have a criminal charge for trying to kill someone that rejected you but yet here we are. I could actually kill you but I dont do that stuff."

"You are going to be sorry Amy."

"Oh I dont think so, roles have been changed now I'm going to in an old fashioned way KICK you out, literally and then we are going to pretend as if it never happened as if this day and conversation didn't happen and so help me if I find out that you told someone I will expose all the details and then you'll be sorry."

I picked him up from the floor and kicked him out locking the door after that.

I stood at the door for a few minutes trying to process what just happened in a very short time. I always knew that Dennis was controlling and manipulative but never this bad I mean if I didn't get him to let go of me I think I would have died of suffocation.

A few hours went by and I was trying everything not to think about every little noise I heard or everytime one of the floor boards creek but that was difficult my mind wouldn't stop coming back to it and I hated it.

It was still light out which made it a little better but I wasn't sure how I'd feel when it gets dark later but I knew that it wasn't to long till it happened.
