Bread, Clothing, Shelter,
Their slogan,
Our hope.
That's why I voted,
But it was all a lie.

In the name of Power,
Corruption rules,
Bribery solves everything,
Inequality prevails.

He works from dawn to dusk,
only to earn a few coins,
no savings, just living in the moment,
it's hard.

She sweeps the floor,
Washes the dishes,
still has to fight for her worth.

The giggling children,
Their pretty smiles,
Their glowing eyes,
We just want to protect them,
We just want to make them happier,
But this World won't allow us.

Bread, Clothing, Shelter,
A hope we rose for,
A hope that faded instantly,
leaving us completely homeless.
