First sight / cordelia Goode

The first night

Once you were almost done settling in, someone knock on your door . " come in " , it was cordelia " hi sweetie is everything okay with the room ? " she ask with such a gentle tone . " yeah everything is fine I'm almost done " you say proudly , she looks at the room but notice that there isn't any pictures on the wall or even any posters , " don't you want to decorate the wall a little bit like with a poster or something ?" She asks , You chuckle and go towards your backpack " well that much is plan " you say pulling out of your bag a medium notebook " I'm not much of a poster person , don't get me wrong I looovee music but I don't like a group in particular you know I do listen to a lot of different things so finding a poster that I like is complicated, so that's why I rather hang out things that I draw or paint " you explain to cordelia who gets now more interested in the conversation. " very well , so if I understand we are joined by an artist right ?" She ask you smiling . " wow I don't know if I'm an artist but I do like to draw and paint a lot " you quickly answer " I can't wait to see your drawings then " she says with a wink . " I'm actually here to tell you that diner is ready " you nodded and then follow the women downstairs.

When you arrive to the table there is 4 others girls at the table and an older women . You take a seat and cordelia break the silence , " alright everybody for those who didn't met her yet this is emy our newest member , I hope I can rely on you to be nice with her " she immediately look at a blond young lady who just rolled her eyes in respond. Everybody introduced themselves, there is Zoe that I met earlier , Madison the one who rolled her eyes , queenie and nan . Then the older women next to cordelia introduce herself , her name is myrtle and she seems very nice to you . While everybody eats you start talking a little with Zoe and Madison , you guys got along pretty well . During the meal you can't help but glance at cordelia a lot , she is beautiful you thought to yourself . Right after you had that thought , nan who sits next to you starts to giggle which caught you attention . She then approach herself to you and whisper " already have a crush on the supreme huh " she says to tease you . You immediately blush and look at her confused, she didn't insist but she kept giggling.

Since you got along so well you kept talking with Zoe and Madison in madison's room. Madison can't help it and starts to interrogate you, " alright so do you date anyone or " that was her first question , surprise you choked a little bit but then answer by a shy no . She looked very satisfied by that answer " great that mean I can hook you up with someone next time we go out " before you had a chance to protest she moves on with the next question " I heard you came alone , why your parents didn't came with you ?" She then asked , you swallow hard as you feel a knot forming in your throat. " my mom is dead and my dad and I didn't really got along " that's all you manage to say . The three of you kept talking all night and you fell asleep very late .
Just the fact of talking about your parents keep you agitated and you knew it was going to be a long night .
You never was a great sleeper, you've had terrible nightmares and a lot of panic attack for a while but all of that only came at night , most of the time you didn't really remember what you were dreaming about you were just left here crying and scared.
You half woke up in the middle of the night screaming, you weren't fully awake you had no conscious about everything around you . You were crying so much and you were screaming , that's when you woke up , you felt arms wrapped around you and someone whispering in your ears for you to calm down . When you fully woke up , you saw that the person was cordelia she looked concerned as she tried her best to calm you , " shhhh calm down sweetie it's okay , it was just a nightmare, it's okay " she repeated to you . In the mean time she rocks you back and forth slowly to help you calm down , you gripped her tightly and try to do so. As your breathing starts to become normal again , you were still crying a little but you were more calm . You then open your eyes to see Madison and Zoe at the doors with sleepy faces and Zoe rubbing her eyes . Zoe looked concerned but Madison not that much because the only thing she said to break the silence was " seriously girl , you woke me up in the middle of the night because you're having nightmares like a 9 years old " , before you could say anything cordelia snapped a very angry look at Madison and said " out ! Now " the girls get out of the room and cordelia return to a more gentle tone " sorry about her sweetheart are you okay ? " she says that while caressing your cheeks with her thumbs whipping out the few tears left . You just nodded as you couldn't really answer properly. Couple minutes laters you starts to pull the sheets out of your body and stand up , cordelia looks at you confused and asks " what are you doing honey, you should try to go back to sleep " , you were terrified to the idea of having another nightmare and every time you had one you always stand up and draw or paint for the rest of the night that was a habit that you picked up .
The truth is your nightmares starts after your mom died and that was 3 years ago , they got more intense when the situation with your dad gets worst , so by now you were use to it .
" hum no i think I'm gonna paint or draw for awhile I can't go back to sleep , but don't worry it's okay I'm use to it " you try to smile to her " alright then but if you need anything just ask ok honey ?" She didn't want to push you because that seemed to be a really hard subject to you . With that said she walks out of your room and you just spend the rest of the night drawing some random stuff .
