The room was small, it was just a few square meters. So small to the point that you could hear even the smallest thing. The trickling of water, the clanking of metal and my heavy breathing. There's a light.
I saw a glimpse of light so I stood up to follow the path, I ran and ran and ran, but...
I couldn't reach it. My arms hurt, it was being stretched and it's very painful. I looked back to where I came from, and it was nothing but darkness.
My hands.. They're in shackles?
I panicked, I cried, I screamed my lungs out burying the sharp pain in my throat.
I hear someone... Along this dark room someone's definitely here. Maybe just hiding around the corner.
Footsteps? Where?
"HELP! HELP!"
Someone suddenly grabbed my arms pulling me into the darkness. I pushed the figure away but it was too strong.
"No... No I don't want to go back.."
The figure, it somehow looks familiar.
"Natan??"
He kept pulling me harder and harder.
He was tightly holding on to my arms, slowly getting near me.
"No Natan please what did I do to y-"
Slowly the figure's face appeared from the darkness within.
"Huh Dad?.. What are you... doing here? "
He gave nothing but a smile. His face didn't age but there was blood on his forehead.
He kept on pulling.
"Dad No! Stop. " I shouted in fear, the dark slowly eating me alive.
"Wake up. "
I sat and huffed breathing unevenly, beads of sweat was trickling down my spine. I hastily looked around searching for a way out.
I need to get out of here-
White wall, oak tables, and a chandelier.
I looked at the bed that I was sitting at. I sighed in relief when I realized that it was only a dream.
I took a better look at the place and its surprisingly cozy and a lot better than my room too.
"It's good your awake." a woman suddenly spoke in the corner.
"Oh god." I pressed my hands to my chest surprised at her sudden appearance.
The woman was wearing a white laced apron and a black long uniform underneath.
"You need to get up here's your change of clothes and your things are in that bag." she pointed the neatly placed shirt and the black duffle bag beside me.
"Oh okay, thank you." I shyly said.
"Uhm may I ask where I am?" maybe I shouldn't have asked, I don't even know if she can be trusted.
She plainly snobbed me helping me to get back on my feet. She handed me my things then neatly fixed the bed.
"Oh no its okay I can do tha-"
She turned back and glared at me. "No. Stay there."
"Uhm okay.." I fiddled my thumbs.
After fixing the bed she turned around to look at me. "Lets go." she plainly said not even bothering to wait for me.
