I wipe my forehead due to the evil that is Georgia's heat. "Just a few more turns and we should be there," I tell her with a wink to not have this simple interaction be bland.

She nods her head at my comment and replies with a simple "Ok"

We eventually got to a camp yet no one had noticed either me or Sophia. I see a man who looks significantly dirtier than the rest of this group going through his bag. He's talking to another man who appears to have quite a gnarly wound on his arm.

"Why'd you wait till now to say anything? Got my brother's stash." The man said as he grabbed a bag filled with pill bottles. The injured man appeared quite confused which I heavily related to. "Crystal, X. Don't need that." He uttered as he searched for a useful drug. "Got some kick-ass painkillers. Doxycycline. Not the generic stuff neither. It's first class. Merle got the clap on occasion." That last comment absolutely disgusted me rightfully so, for no sane person wants to hear about the existence of stranger's STDs.

I turn and whisper to Sophia "This is your camp?" I ask her in disbelief she nods. Suddenly someone acknowledges the unanticipated appearance of Sophia. A frail woman with short hair noticed and tears seemed to build in her eyes as she ran towards Sophia. She hugged her tightly as she sobbed in what appears to be joy. Sophia smiled and hugged her back.

The rest began to notice the arrival of Sophia. The man with the big bag of drugs smirked and yelled at a blonde woman. "I TOLD YOU SHE WOULD BE FINE!" he teases the blonde woman while he walked towards Sophia.

I put my weapon back into my holster/pocket to seem less threatening. Another man walks towards me with confusion riddled on his face. "So who would you be" he interrogates me with suspicion living in his voice.

"Y/n helped me get back here," Sophia informed as she pointed to me with a smile on her face. I nod at Sophia's response.

"Do you have a group?" The man asked me as he crossed his arms.

"No sir," I answered.

"You know how to kill those things?"

"Yes"

"You seem harmless enough but don't even think about trying anything." He commented with an intimidating tone as he stared into my eyes. I nod at him. "Alright go introduce yourself to the others." He ordered me as he pointed to the rest of this group. I followed his direction and walked towards the strangers.

I wonder what's next for me.
