Slipping the golden dress embroidered with lace patterns hooked onto my skin. The corset slipped into place on my small waist as I pulled the strings causing my waist to shrink a few centimeters. I guided my shoes onto my feet and stood, pausing as I balanced in the heeled shoes. I opened my cabin door and looked at the beautiful flower field that had grown many species over the spring days. I walked along the path, pushing any brown hair that fell into my face away. It wasn't long before I stumbled upon the walls of L'manberg. I picked up my dress slightly as I walked into the opening in the walls. Inside I saw 7 people in a circle, speaking to each other. One had brown fluffy hair that I recognized immediately as Wilbur. Another with a mask designed with an exaggerated smile, Dream. One with a blue hoodie and white glasses, George. A boy with a white bandana and a fire symbol on his shirt, Sapnap. Another with blonde hair and soldier's clothes, Tommy. And a brown-haired boy with a positive look to his face, Tubbo. I walked over and only one noticed Dream.
"If I had known we were having a masquerade I would have worn a mask," my elegant accent rang out, catching the attention of the boys.
"Isabelle? What are you doing here?" Wilbur commented, slightly annoyed that he'd have to explain her presence.
"Can't I visit my dear brother without refusal?" I smirked as Tubbo let out a small chuckle. "Hey Tubbo," I hugged the boy and I felt another pair of arms engulf me.
"I don't get a hello?" The blonde boy let out and I could feel his gaze on Dream as he practically made sure the masked man didn't ruin their one happy thing.
"I was getting to it Tommy," I chuckled smiling at the boy happily.
"Sorry to break the happy reunion but who is this exactly?" The arms unlatched from me and I stood by Wilbur.
"I'm Isabelle, I apologize for the inconvenient timing. It wasn't my intention to arrive during a meeting." I looked the boy up and down, noticing the sharp netherite axe on his hip. "And I suppose you're Dream. My brother has mentioned loads about you," The masked man stilled before replying.
"What things have he mentioned?" His bright green eyes stared into mine as if they could slice open any lie told to them.
"Mostly war, the peace before the war, the tension before threats," I reminisced of the topics of our conversations. "You seem like you were a good man before the war."
"War changes people," he was quick to reply.
"Indeed it does," Silence rang through the air as tension grew and thickened like fog. "I must be off, Grace should be getting restless by now, she hasn't left her stall since last night." I quickly hugged my brother around the waist and he hugged me tightly, not wanting to let go.
"Goodbye Isabelle, thank you for stopping in," My brother said. We released from the hug and I ruffled his hair.
"Goodbye Wilbur," I said turning to Tommy and Tubbo next as I hugged the two. "Bye, Tommy, Bye Tubbo."
"Bye Isabelle," they both managed to say in sync. Finally, I stuck my hand out towards Dream.
"I hope we meet again, in a time of peace," I looked to the 3 boys in front of me. Dream reached out his hand and clasped it to mine.
"As do I," we shook hands and I left, waving once more to Tommy, Tubbo, and Wilbur. Arriving back home I walk to the stall that held the pure black horse named Grace. I stroked her muzzle, kissing just above her nose. The tempered horse stomped her hooves, a sign she wanted to get out. She's done this since she was a pony.
"Ok, ok!" I chuckled at her temper tantrum and opened the gate of the stall, allowing her to trot into the fenced-in area for her to stretch. I quickly went into my cabin and grabbed brown trousers, a white blouse, and a black corset. I quickly musted all the clothing on, grabbing my bow and arrow as well as my prized netherite axe I walked out the door towards my horse. I whistled, causing the black, shining horse to gallop over to my side. I placed my right foot into the stirrup and swung my left leg over the horse and into the other stirrup. "Ready girl?" There was a huff in response and I gripped the reins. I snapped the reins causing Grace to take off at a fast pace. We began our normal route through a trail I made towards a freshwater stream about 300 blocks away from my home. the wind whipped my eyes causing me to squint as I looked for any tree branches that could possibly be low enough to knock me off. As I was looking I saw a branch stick out in the middle of Grace's way causing her to lift her 2 front legs in the air making me fall to the ground behind her. I groaned in pain but 3 silhouettes loomed over me, one was quick to place the tip of a sword to my neck.
"Wait, you're Isabelle. We met earlier." My vision began to adjust to their dark figures, I noticed the blue shirt to my left as the one speaking.
"So you're the one that's been coming here every day!" Dream exclaimed as Sapnap withdrew the sword from my neck.
"No, it was the other person whose tracks are left on the dirt," I sat up, brushing the dirt from my back.
"You need to listen up, you're on our territory. You need to leave or we'll be forced to-" Dream was quick to shut him up.
"She's not a threat Sapnap. She hasn't even attempted to harm us," he stated and I stood, brushing dirt from my trousers.
"She could be a spy Dream! She could be spying for L'Manberg! Her brother's Wilbur for christ's sake!" Sapnap cried out.
"I wasn't planning on going into your territory, who did you believe made this trail?" I stated matter of factly.
"Why are you even going down here?" George questioned curiously.
"If you must know, I was getting glass bottles filled for potions. I was also going to hunt for dinner. I was planning on pork chops, possibly steak whichever I could acquire first." Sapnap seemed to shift in his stance and I caught on quickly to his body language. "You can come with me if you'd like if you're too uncomfortable with me here." I looked at Sapnap and he seemed to relax slightly at that.
"If you don't mind," Dream responded. "It'd make us all feel better about the situation." I walked to the front of Grace where she seemed to be still slightly startled by the branch. I rubbed her muzzle, whispering words calmly to her to soothe her and she was soon back to normal.
"Sorry for startling her," Dream quickly apologized.
"I would do the same if someone was on my territory, come on then," I grabbed a hold of her lead, walking along the path with the 3 boys behind me. "I live rather close you know, I must be on the border of your territory."
"How far out?" Sapnap asked.
"Around 150 blocks East, just down the trail." I heard a hum in response.
"You've been to the nether?" George asked, seeming to notice the netherite axe.
"I have indeed," We had made it to the river and I pulled the empty glass bottles from the bag on Graces saddle. I placed one of the bottles into the current of the water and let it fill. As it reached the top I placed a cork into it and set it to the side, moving onto the next bottles. A conversation soon sparked.
"Isabelle, are you L'Manberg or Dream SMP?" I hummed in thought as I waited for the bottle in my hand to fill.
"It'd be wrong if I wasn't on the side of L'Manberg. My brother is the leader we're blood, I can't betray him even if my life depended on it," I stated rather clearly. "We made a vow to never leave each other's sides." Dream stepped closer to me and grabbed a bottle filling it to the brim with water.
"You have the right to your own opinion, apart from your brother. You wouldn't be betraying him, merely disagreeing with his morals." I looked at him with semi confusion and somewhat shock.
"Wilbur is blood but Tommy and Tubbo are like little brothers to me. I wouldn't turn on them for the world. They shouldn't even be in this mess! They're children Dream! Children! They have an entire life ahead of them," I rambled quickly finishing the last bottle and placing the corkscrew back on. I stood, grabbing as many water bottles as I could get in my arms, one toppled out of my arms, falling to the ground. Dream was fast to react and took a step closer to me, grabbing the water bottle before it hit the ground. He was extremely close to me, too close for my own comfort. It was almost like he could sense how uncomfortable I was and he stepped back, picking up the last bottles. I walked over to Grace, placing the filled water bottles into the bag. Dream stood next to me as I walked to the other side, he handed me the filled water bottles one by one. Silence rung deafeningly in the air, I turned to look at Dream, noticing movement behind him my sight picked up a zombie around 6 feet behind him. Pulling out my bow and arrow I aimmed quickly over Dream's head, firing the arrow andhitting the zombie in the head making it stumble and collapse to the ground. "Children shouldn't have to fight wars." I placed my foot into the stirrup, swinging the other leg over Grace, turning, and placing Grace in a full speed run we make it back home in 10 minutes, right before the sun fully set.
No pig or steak for dinner i guess its apples and potatoes.
