Edward POV

"Harper did"

What the hell?! Why would Harper do that?! I haven't seen her in like...70 years! "What did it say?" I said squeezing her hand. She pulled a note out of her pocket and showed it to me.

Contract
Lilly Warfel,
I know your power. What I want you to do is to renounce Edward Cullen. I also want you to never mention your past when he shows up at the Cullen residence. I know fully well you two are living your best lives so I want you to ruin it all. If you don't, I'll murder everyone you love leaving you with nothing. I know you'd murder yourself too if that happened but I'd capture you and torture you for the rest of eternity. Why would I do this? You may be thinking it's because I liked Edward but you're far from correct. I'm a lesbian and I loved you. I still do. I knew you were bisexual so I flirted with Edward with the intention for you two to break up. When you did I'd shoot my shot. If I lost, I'd move on but you never gave me the chance to do so. I now want revenge. It would hurt every bone in my body to hurt the one I love but I'm afraid I'd have to. Sign this and return it to me if you don't want any trouble.

From, Harper Walters

End of contract

My jaw dropped. I was furious and confused. I looked down at Lilly's signature and back up at her. "We'll kill her." I said staring deeply into her eyes. She didn't say anything for a while. "We can't." "Why not? My family would help us. We're all with you Lilly." I said taking both of her hands. "She would know if we came." "How would she know? Her ability is disguise." "She has a helper. That's his ability. He can spy on anyone he wants." "Then how does he not know about this conversation?" "I researched  how to barricade him from doing so. By being near me it counts for you too."

She's incredible. I think to myself.

I see her cheeks turn a light pink and I smiled sheepishly, scratching the back of my head.  "So why can't we use the barricade when going to kill her?" "Because the family is being tracked. We can't remove nor barricade the trackers. We've been trying ever since you got out of your coma." "Coma?" "You go into a coma when someone renounces you." I nodded. She showed me how to put up a barricade and told me everyone else had the barricade up too. I wanted to ask her why we couldn't be together but I didn't push it. Maybe she was happy without me. I'd hope not but I want what's best for her. We went home to the house and she took me up to my room. Her stuff was still in there which made give a tiny smile to myself. We sat on the bed as she turned on a movie and took out a sketchbook. I started thinking. I thought about how close we were to a happy life and maybe even marriage. I thought about how quickly she moved on. I know she was crying just a few hours ago about me but she still seemed okay. I sure wasn't. (SIMP ALERT -Sorry anyway-) I must've been staring at her while pondering because when I snapped out of my daze, she was looking at me with a perplexed look. "Edward, you okay?" "Huh- oh yeah. I'm fine." I looked back at the TV but she was still looking at me. I put up a mind block before she could read my mind but she was still looking at me. She was probably just confused and weirded out. "I'm gonna change." "Okay." She got up and walked towards the bathroom.

Lilly POV

I stared at him wondering if he still loved me. I snapped out of it and walked toward the bathroom. "I'm gonna change." "Okay." I walked to the bathroom and close the door. I was about to remove my tank top when I felt someone very tall standing behind me. "You didn't think I would let you get away with that did you?" His frosty voice whispered into my ear. I froze as chills went down my spine.
