This is not the end.

The Last Day

They had just beat Corypheus, Talia was out of breath, clutching her side she looks around and sees Solas kneeling on the ground. Walking to him she notices he is gently touching the orbs shattered pieces in disbelief. She kneels down laying her hand on his shoulder, her other blood stained hand coming down to his.

"Solas, come on." Talia says softly.
"It's over, what happens now?" Solas questions more to himself than to Talia. Glancing down again he notices her hand over his. The blood stains that covered her gentle hands. He sighs, grabbing her hand softly he holds on. Talia senses the tension that is present, she also senses that for some strange reason this will be the last time she touches him. Her breath hitches and she lets a tear fall down her face. Solas looks up into her eyes, searching, for what though? She moves in closer and kisses him then leans her forehead to his, they sit there for a few moments just holding each others hands and staring into each others eyes. Solas then releases her hand and stands abruptly. She notices that there are tears in his eyes, something she has never seen before. 

"Talia?" Cassandras voice carries over the battle ground. Standing herself Talia winces as the gash in her side is stretched with the quick movement. she places her hand back over her side, and makes her way to Cassandras voice.

Coming to the edge of the battleground she looks down the stairs at her companions that fought at her side, and she feels proud and happy that they were all still with her. Stepping lightly down the stairs she meets them all as they smile and laugh at what they have just done. Talia glances back up the stairs to see if Solas was behind her. He wasn't. She glanced around checking to see if he was already down with her and the group. He was nowhere to be found. She didn't give it much thought at first, relieved that it was all over. Solas liked to have his own space, she wasn't expecting him to stay around here for long. He was probably just down at the camp already and in their tent going over the day and what to do about the orb. 

"THE ORB!" Talia says out loud with a bit more force than she meant to. Running up the stairs to looks of shock from her companions and clutching her side because of the pain, she comes to the top and looks to where the orb had been just moments before. It was gone. Solas, and now the orb, both just gone. disappeared. Talia Falls to the ground a quick sob escaping her lips. Somehow she knew this was coming. Solas was gone, he had taken the orb and had left her. Her heart felt like it was shattering into a thousand pieces. 

She couldn't show her weakness now, she had a army to lead back home they needed her strength. standing up and turning quickly, she wiped the tears from her eyes.
