Gotta Be You -L.S-

Part One

"Time to wake up Harry!"
Harry rolled over and stretched. "Good morning "Mom."
"Better get dressed it's your first day at your new school." Anne said, closing the door behind her.
Harry groaned. Oh yeah, his new school. His mom worked as a nurse she moved all the way from Florida to New Jersey for her job. He was starting  his junior year here. He got up and walked into the bathroom. He brushed his teeth and combed his hair. He walked back to his room and over to his closet and pulled out a striped button up shirt with skinny jeans. He put the outfit on and unbuttoned a couple of the first buttons on his shirt. He thought he looked okay. He went over to his vanity and pulled out some lipgloss. Sparkly clear. He decided to put it on. He checked his nails. Yellow with smiley faces. Positive nails for a positive attitude. He slipped on his shoes and went downstairs.
"Smells great mom!" He said smiling as Anne put some pancakes at the table. He quickly ate and kissed her on the cheek as he grabbed his backpack.  He started the twenty minute drive to school. He found himself getting nervous. What if he couldn't find his classes? What if he made no friends? What if he sat alone at lunch? His stomach hurt. He thought of wiping off his lipgloss scared people might judge him. He took a deep breath and calmed down. He left his lipgloss on.  He turned on the radio and listed to The Beatles until he got to school.
         He pulled into a parking space and pulled out his schedule. His first class was English then science then math then lunch then home room then finally geography. It was a pretty small school. How hard could it be?  He grabbed his stuff and went into the building.
       He got through English and science being completely silent. He walked into math. The teacher asked him to sit by a blonde haired boy. He sat down. The boy looked up.
         "Hi I'm Niall.." He said with a grin.
        "I'm Harry." Harry said smiling happy he was finally talking to someone.
        "Nice to meet ya Harry." He smiled. "Are you new here?" Niall said scanning Harry's face.
"Yeah moved here about a month ago during the summer." Harry replied.
"Oh cool." Niall said smiling. "Do you have your schedule? We can see which classes we have together." Turns out Harry had every class with Niall except geography.
"You can sit with me at lunch." Niall said smiling.
"Deal." Harry laughed. They made joked and fooled around for the rest of science. Math went by fast he was sitting by Niall again. Finally they went to lunch together. He sat with Niall and his friends.
"This is Shawn." Niall introduced a tall kid with brown curly hair and light brown eyes.
"Hey how are you?" Shawn said warmly.
"I'm good how are you?" Harry said smiling back. Maybe making friends would be that difficult.
"I'm great." Shawn replied.
"Anyways, this is Liam." Niall introduced another boy. "He's on the basketball team with Shawn and I."
"That's Tom." Niall said. "He looks like a freshman but he's a junior" Tom smiled and waved.
Soon lunch was over and Harry went to homeroom. He had no work to do so he just got in his phone and started texting Niall. This teacher had assigned seats so they were seated across the room. They started texting jokes and laughing. Soon enough it was time for last period. He walked in and politely asked the teacher where to sit.
"There's an open seat next to Louis over there." She smiled and pointed. He went and sat down next to a boy with tattoos running up and down his arms. It was obvious he was popular too popular for Harry. He was really good looking. Brown feathery hair with bright blue eyes tanned skin.
"Uh hey." They boy said looking at Harry.
Harry then realized he has been staring at Louis.
"Oh hey, I'm Harry." He said smiling.
"Louis." Louis said scanning Harry's face. "Are you near here this year?"
"Yep." Harry replied.
"Thought so." Louis said then didn't speak a word back to Harry for the rest of class.
