Chapter 3: Sleepover

I woke up to feel Lilly shaking me.

"Hey Leah it's time to go"

She helped me stand up. The world wasn't spinning and I could see again which was great. She walked me to my locker to get my things. Everyone was staring at me. I could feel my face get hot with embarrassment so I walked a bit faster.

If i thought this day couldn't get any worse oh i was terribly terribly wrong.

I grabbed my stuff out of my locker as fast as I could my heart beating fast. I didn't realize how fast I was walking until Lilly called me.

"Hey Leah wait for me damn" she said out of breathe

"Sorry Lilly"

I slowed down and Lilly caught up to me. Once we got outside the feeling of fresh air calmed me a bit. I took a couple deep breaths in. We walked to Lilly's car. For her to look soft this girl was most definitely an adrenaline junkie. She has a ruby red Lamborghini. I bought it for her and she loves it. I smile thinking about the day I gave it to her. Her green eyes were as big as jewels and her jumping up and down on me. Most people don't know that i'm rich if they did well i could only imagine how many so called friends i would have. I wasn't popular at school and I didn't want to be either. I had everything I needed. I had a decent ranking on our school website. Two great best friends , and an amazing boyfriend, decent parents who called often even if they weren't home. I guess no one has a perfect life huh.

"Hey I get paid today wanna go shopping" said Lilly as we were cruising down the street from school.

"You know i have us covered but sure"

"I don't understand why you don't let me pay for my own stuff Leah but ok let's go"

Lilly took off down the street. I rolled my window down and the wind felt great in my hair. Once we arrived at the mall it was my turn. I may have been sad but shopping, well that was always a great emotional booster. I drug Lilly around half the store. Between the two of us we easily spent $4,000. I never overdid how much I spent. Even though with Chris we use to really push it. He always wanted designer stuff but I didn't mind then. Lilly drove us to her house.

"Ok i feel like 10 times better"

"I knew you would but I didn't expect to go through half the mall. But your happy that's all that matter i guess"

"Thank you Lilly for always being there." i said and hugged her.

"You know i will always be there for you Leah no matter what"

I sat down on her bean bag chair and she sat on the bottom bunk of the bunk bed.

"So what do you wanna do" i asked

We looked at each other and smiled

"EAT" we yelled

We ran downstairs and found all of the menus we could.

"Ooo let's get that"

"And that"

"Omg yes most definitely some of those"

By the time we got done ordering we had Chinese, Korean, Mediterranean, and barbecue. When everything arrived we looked at everything.

"There is no way we are eating all of this" i said

"Yeah but you know what that means" said Lilly

"Yes late night food for the homeless" i said with a smile

When I was little my dad used to take me out sometimes late at night to pass out food to the homeless or less fortunate. The tradition stuck with me so now me and Lilly do it sometimes. It's always nice to see their faces light up when they get food. Once me and Lilly got done eating we separated the rest of the food into containers and went to go pass them out. Once we were done we came back home.

"Ok i'm tired and i'm full lets sleep please" said Lilly

"Ok" I said with a smile on my face.

Once we got done taking our showers we laid down. Lilly never liked top bunk so that was mine i didn't mind though.

Unfortunately once the light went off and we were in complete darkness i started thinking..................
