chapter I

(Kinami orphanage)

         I was woken up by a white haired silver eyed girl shaking me. “Blade! It’s time to get up!” “Nng, why?” “Our new guardians are coming today.” “*sigh*”  I got up and got dressed while my friend Lily who I guess is my sister now waited on her bed. “What do you think you're going to be like?” “How am I supposed to know? Honestly I don’t care what they’re like so long as they're not like our former parents.” “Hmm…” “Girls hurry up and come downstairs! Your new guardians are here!” I packed my pjs from last night into my suitcase then proceeded downstairs with Lily. I stayed behind Lily ready to attack if they tried to hurt her. “Ah! Here they are! This is Lily and the black haired cat girl behind her is Blade. Lily, Blade, these are your new guardians. The one with black hair is Aizawa Shōta, and the blond haired one is his husband Hizashi Yamada.” I peeked around lily to get a better look at our new dad’s and saw they had a purple haired boy with them. “Alright, well everything is in order and you already have most of the girls stuff so you're all set.” “Thanks, cmon brats.” “Shōta don’t be rude!” “Bye girls, I promise you’ll love your new home.” We followed our new family out to the car and proceeded to get in. After we all got in our homeless looking guardian started driving. Lily sat in the middle in the back seat with me on the right and I guess our new brother on the left. “So what do you kids like to do?” “Hmm? Oh! I enjoy all sorts of things! Arts and crafts mostly. Blade likes to sleep, and draw.” “Huh, alright.”

        After that there was no more conversation until we got home. “Alright brats welcome to your new home, your room is across from Shinso’s. Once you unpack and settle in, come out to the living room.” I watched as our dad went inside while our other dad and I guess Shinso who’s our brothers name helped with our remaining luggage. After we got inside and unpacked me and Lily went to the living room and saw our new family waiting for us. “Alright let’s get this over with so I can take my nap. My name is Aizawa Shōta, my quirk is erasure, and I’m a pro hero along with a teacher at U.A. My hero name is eraserhead.” “Aww c'mon Shōta! Add some enthusiasm! Like this. My name is Hizashi Yamada, I’m also a teacher and a pro hero, my hero name is present mic and my quirk is voice amplification!” “Too loud.” I nodded my head in agreement with dads stamens then turned to look at our brother. “I’m Hitoshi Shinsou, I’m not officially adopted by these two but we’re getting the paperwork. I’m a student at U.A and my quirk is brainwashing.” “Cool! Well I’m Lilyana but I prefer to be called Lily. I have multiple quirks due to situations I’d rather not discuss. Anyways due to the unique color of my eyes I can see auras which is an unique energy that floats around everyone, because I can see this energy I can control and manipulate it for example making a shield. I can also turn into a baby wolf, regular sized wolf, and a werewolf which is twice the size of a normal wolf. I however can’t use my quirks a whole lot otherwise I injure myself from the inside out due to how weak my body is. Blade also has multiple quirks; she has neko which is basically anything a cat can do,  she has a quirk that allows her to steal someone else’s quirk when she touches them for two minutes and store it like a quirk database, she can also teleport.” “Alright but why didn’t she talk?” “She’s not overly fond of strangers. Plus we have bad experiences with families so we don’t trust easily.” “Well I can guarantee you that these two will treat you just fine, be warned Aizawa is that overprotective father and mic is the protective but allows a lot more freedom.” “Hmm...well ok! Anything we should know so we don’t irritate you?” “Don’t disturb my naps unless it’s an emergency.” “I’m cool with whatever.” “Same thing on my end, what about you two? Anything we need to know?” “Hmm well we’re both sensitive to loud noises, blade is the same way with Aizawa when it comes to her naps, and I just really don’t like the cold.” “Alrighty then, we’ll Aizawa why don’t you take a nap while I go cook us all dinner, you kids stay here and try to get along.” “Ok!” We watched as our dads left then I turned my attention to Lily and  Shinsou. “So Shinsou? What do you like to do?” “Hmm, well I don’t know actually. I’ve never been asked that...what about you?” “Well I love to do arts and crafts! I’m better at sculpting than anything else.” After Lily and Shinsou talked for a little bit we were called in for dinner, at dinner me and Lily found out that we would be placed in class 1 A along with Shinsou who I guess just joined yesterday. After a bit more discussion we all went to bed. I knew Lily was still awake because I could hear her shifting on the top bunk. Once it hit midnight and I was sure everyone was asleep I decided to talk with Lily. “So...what do you think about our new family?” “I don’t know...they seem nice! Shinsou seems to be a lot like us more like you than anything else but I feel like there’s a side that we don’t know.” “Hmm, what about our dads?” “They seem alright, I like them but…” “but?” “There’s a strange sadness...there’s a string that seems to be the core of that sadness but the string itself is very odd.” “Odd how?” “The string represents a friend, but what’s weird is it’s clear. There is no color or mix of color at all. It’s just clear like a mirror.” “What does that mean?” “I don’t know…” “Hmm...well let’s get some sleep, we have to meet more people tomorrow.” “Yeah...night blade!” “Mm.”
