Dream's POV.
It had been a few days later, and George had been released from the hospital about two days ago.
I was walking around, heading towards my local coffee shop. I pressed the door open, a little bell began ringing to allow the workers intel that a customer had just came in.
I was a local here and so everyone knew me. I came here about twice a week, ordering the same drink everytime.
"Ayee Clay! We'll have your order out shortly." The worker smiled towards me, gripping my hand tightly.
"Sounds good boss man." I winked at him, with finger guns laughing before heading for a nearby table.
I spun around gazing at all the other costumers. One had caught my eye specifically.
His deep brown eyes pierced through mine, the eye contact only lasted a moment.
George.
I came up with a plan yesterday to how I would approach or get George and I to become friends again. My plan was to act as though I didn't know him, and didn't recognize him from the hospital. I would let him come to me, knowing him, he would get curious and eventually come to speak with me.
A large iced coffee was placed in front of me, and I handed the server a 50 dollar bill as per usual. Taking a sip of the coffee a smaller body approached my table. I could only see him from the corner of my eye.
I smirked to myself. I knew it.
George's frail body had seem to be a bit less pale and swollen after all those treatments.
But I had to stick to my plan, I couldn't ask how he was doing...mentally and physically. It could ruin the plan, a plan that both Karl and Sapnap knew, and agreed to go along with.
"Hey..is this seat taken by anyone..?" I hadn't heard that voice in what felt like ages. It was gentle and soothing.
I shook my head and pointed towards the seat. He slid in and fidgeted with his hands. I took a slow sip of my coffee looking towards him.
I glanced away before he could catch me staring at him. "Sorry..I just. I recognize you from the hospital, right?" He peered up and spoke quietly.
I looked back over at him and raised my eyebrow. "Hmm, what hospital?? I'm sorry I think you might have the wrong guy."
It sucked having to play dumb, and the fact that he had already been on his own for two days. Must've gotten a hotel room or something.
His face turned a pinkish color. "Oh! So sorry, you just looked really familiar is all, I'll get out of your way, I'm sorry again." His voice shook with panic and he quickly rose from the seat.
"I mean...your company was quite nice, but if you have plans to sit with someone else, I completely understand."
I knew he had no plans with anyone else, he had no memory of even living here, let alone knowing anyone from here.
He quickly sat down, and brushed his hands along the table. "Are you sure? I don't want to be too much of a bother." He dragged his hands from the table, placing them in his lap.
I smiled and nodded. "No it's okay, you're not a bother."
His face lit up and a small smile formed on his face, holding his cup of tea with two hands taking a small sip.
