Kenzie's POV

We have been sitting and talking for about 20 minutes. We've had about 4 drinks and are kind of drunk. He looks at me looking for something wrong. I fake a smile hoping he won't see past it. "There's this girl, we've been dating for about 2 months now." I smile "that's awesome Johnny" he winces. "Yeah she's so beautiful and I think this time I've finally got it right. She's the one for me" I smile and thank Hayden when he comes up the stairs. "Can I talk to Kenzie?" Johnny nods and gets up. I smile at him one more time. Hayden walks over and takes Johnny's place. Once I hear Johnny hit the last step I break down in tears. Hayden hugs me. "W-why doesn't he know he's all I think about, he says he's so in love and he doesn't even know he's all I think about at night" Hayden rubs soothing circles on my back and I hear footsteps coming up the stairs. Maddie appears and takes in my sight. "I'm gonna tell everyone to go home for the night I explained the whole thing downstairs to them, should I tell them you'll text the group chat in the morning and that Hayden and Lauren have a plan to watch a movie with you and send Lauren up?" I nod and let out a breath of relief. She stumbled down the stairs and a few seconds later I hear footsteps coming back up. Lauren comes up and gives me a sad smile and sits on the other side of me. I hear footsteps coming up the stairs again and see Johnny. He sees me and starts to come over. Hayden stands up and shakes his head. Johnny looks at me confused. I grab Hayden's arm and pull him back. I get up and walk downstairs and everyone follows. I see a beautiful red head standing there. Johnny's girlfriend. I pull up my sleeves and show them my arms. They all have shocked expressions. "I've hit a rough patch in my life. My parents died, the guy I loved broke up with me because he found someone else. I had sex with someone I don't love. I've been using drugs. I've been eating less. Using more. I've been using acid and cocaine behind my family and friends backs. I have a real problem. The guy Im still desperately in love with says he finally got it right. So was I never right for you Johnny? Why am I never enough. Fuck I couldn't even get my parents to stay. So yes I'm a little out there right now. So if you can't accept the new me then get the fuck out please. Don't stay here today to just walk out another day." My friends, Maddie and the red head girl all stare at me in shock. The red head puts her hand out "Hi I'm Nadia I think we're gonna get along great." I smile and shake her hand. "Kenzie the crazy fucked up ex."
