Also when I say "kami" or "oh Kami" it equates to "god" or "oh god". Not in any religious connotations.

My alarm blared loudly in my small apartment waking me up at 5:30 A.M. I sleepily lifted my body up from the warmth and comfort of my bed to forcefully whack the snooze button and sigh.

'ugh, why did I do this to myself? I don't think I can keep waking up at this hour anymore' I said to myself. "how does Iruka and Kakashi do this every morning?" I thought about it for another second, 'actually just Iruka, Kakashi sleeps in and makes his kids wait for hours'. I chuckled to myself, hmm that's not a bad idea but if I did that I would be in big trouble. He only gets away with it because of pretty privilege, I wish. My cheeks began heating up at the thought of a sleepy Kakashi, preferably shirtless. I quickly shake the thought out of my head and stand up for a good stretch.

I was recently promoted to jōnin at the age of 18. I was excited about the promotion don't get me wrong, but I failed to realize that I would have to wake up early in the morning to train my team instead of sleeping in and waking up at my leisure. In fear of wasting time, I walked to the bathroom to brush my teeth and then brush my (h/l) (h/c) hair before putting it into a tight ponytail. After I was finished, I walked over to my closet putting on my uniform and vest before finishing it off with my holster on my leg. I checked the mirror to see if I looked presentable and decided on a little mascara to avert people's attention from my under eyes to my long lashes. Once finished and semi approving how I look, I went towards my kitchen to make some breakfast. Realizing I have almost no food, I settled for a protein bar and grabbed my headband. I tied it around my neck, almost like a choker (think of how Hinata wears hers). I realized I still had time, so I decided on a leisurely walk in hopes the sun rays would wake me up a bit more.

I locked the door to my apartment and walked outside admiring the breeze and the sun beginning to show over the horizon. I love how quiet the village is in the morning and how empty the streets are with only vendors and businesses getting ready to open. I got lost in my own thoughts until I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder. I turned my head to see the culprit and found a silver-haired man with his nose in one of his pervy books. Once I registered it was Kakashi I was surprised to see him up at this early hour. I also felt a slight blush creep up on my cheeks remembering my thoughts of him shirtless and sleepy this morning.

"hey (y/n)," he said with the cutest close-eyed smile. I wish I could see what's under that mask, I bet he's gorgeous, "what are you doing up this early?" he asked.

"I can ask you the same thing, I don't think I've ever seen you up before 8:00 A.M, not even when at the academy," I smiled while he chuckled, looking back at his book.

"well, you may have never seen me up at this hour but that doesn't mean its never happened. I'm actually always up at this hour," He voiced while flipping the page of the orange book.
