What do you see when you hear the word 'Murderer'? What do you think? What is your perception of the word? Do you think male or female? Do you think educated or uneducated? Rich or poor. Do you ever think it could be a child?
Often times we think of those who kill as haunting and aggressive people with upsetting pasts whom have an absolute lack of empathy. Some say you can tell by their eyes. A darkness. A hollowness. Others say they're charming and clever. Some are intrigued and some fear. But if a perpetrator steps into a court room, what would you expect? Highly doubtful you would expect a child. Hard to imagine.
