Chapter 4

A week later they were sitting down waiting to hear from Beverly the older ones with an idea of why she's back from Starfleet and calling them from the last time she did this.

Josh still had his concussion but not as bad.

He was rubbing Wesley's back right now.

"Alright, so, people that were here ten years ago probably know why I asked Captain to have a meeting." Beverly said and people from that time nodded. "He's pregnant again. Fourteen weeks."

Wesley sat there sweating a little like last time. His heart pounding close to an anxiety attack.

"Calm down Wes. It went fine last time didn't it?" Josh said with him now in his arms.

Wesley calmed down a little and nodded.

"I'll stay with you like last time."

He nodded and tried to stay calm.

"Mr. Crusher," Picard started.

"Y-yes sir?" he said shocking everyone.

Some people were still shocked that he has anxiety. The fighter and hero multiple times having something like that?

"After last times incident you are to end work at 24 weeks. Understood?"

"But sir-" he said causing everyone to have trouble not laughing.

"Am I understood?"

He sighed.

"Yes sir."

He nodded.

"Good. And leave engineering at

the same time."

Wesley groaned while everyone started laughing.

A few days later Wesley and Josh were on their way to the bridge because they both had it this time when Wesley winced and put his hand on his abdomen.

"Wesley?" Josh said.

He looked at him and shook his head.

"I'm fine." he said.

Josh nodded and was going to keep an eye on him today.

When they got to the bridge Wesley winced for a second while no one was looking.

"Captain." he said.

"Lieutenant Crusher, Ensign Albert." he said.

Then Wesley and Josh sat down.

"Lieutenant Crusher, Warp 96."

"All set sir." he said when it was all set.

"Engage."

Then he hit the button and they were off.

Throughout the morning Wesley would feel pain and was getting worried now. He remembered someone having a miscarriage after something happened.

It had been three hours and he felt it again but this time he couldn't hide it and hissed. Then he put his hand on his abdomen and winced.

"Lieutenant Crusher, is something wrong?" Picard asked worried.

Josh got up and put his hand on his shoulder and Wesley looked at him then felt something come. So he looked down and saw blood.

He shook his head.

"No." he said quietly then winced and hissed then put his hands on his stomach.

Josh remembered it to and shook his head and Wesley nodded looking scared.

He was having a miscarriage.

What's gonna happen? Will they be able to stop it? Will he end up losing it?
