Chapter Three

Bella's POV

Officer Mackintosh sighed and looked at Isabelle. " Your daughter," he starts, "Has been caught skipping school four times already, and she has also been caught vandalizing property and shoplifting," he continued.

"Where's is this going?" Isabella sighed.

"Unfortunately your daughter has been disobeying the law one too many times ," he finished.

"What does that mean?" Isabelle asked worriedly as she quickly glanced at me and then turned back to the Officer

"This normally would mean if your child is over the age of eighteen, she would be arrested and taken to prison, I don't know for how long but as long as the judge decides."
I bite my lip and stared at the ground.

"But?" She asked, hoping there would be another option. "But , because she is only seventeen, she will only be charge with a month or two of community service, she may volunteer where ever we see fit for her and where ever someone is willing to accept her volunteer despite her current juvie record," He concluded.
"No," I said, "no freaking way I will ever do community service , I don't care about what you guys say, I'm not doing it."

I stood up , threw my chair at the wall and stalked out the room , slamming the door behind me.

"Bella!" I heard Isabelle shout,"Get back here right now if you know what's good for you!" She screamed furiously.

I walked out of the station and ignored her every word.

I was so mad,I just walked and walked , I had no destination in plan it was all in the heat of the moment I guess. I slowed down and started to become aware of my surroundings . I looked around for a familiar shop or some sort of sign showing me where I was. I continued walking until I found a park.

It was deserted and seemed like it was very old and rarely used. I sat on a bench and tried to find my destination via my phone . I go onto maps and just my luck there is no signal. I sigh and exit the app and plug in my headphones and start listening to music.

I hear a voice clearing his throat  , he waited a few moments then cleared it again.

"Can I help you?" I asked , getting annoyed

I looked up and saw that I was surrounded by a group of 8 boys. They looked like bad asses , delinquents . Basically the male versions of me.

"Yes you can,"one if them said,"wait how rude of me,I didn't introduce myself,my name is Zac."he introduced.

"I didn't catch your name." He said

"Well, I didn't throw it and you can't cath something that hasn't been thrown." I snap , and go back onto my phone. I gasped as I felt my self being pulled into a standing position then being dragged away,

"Hey!" I exclaimed. "Let go of me!" I shouted.
"You just seemed a little lonely, we just wanna have some fun with you."

"No,no,no,no,no,no,NO!" I chanted ."Help!" I screamed "HEELLLPPPPP!"
They took of one of their bandanas and tied it around my mouth to muffle my cries for help. I almost cried of frustration knowing it would be no use to scream,firstly because they muffled me and secondly because this park was abandonned. I squirmed around in their arms but it was no use , they were too strong.

They carried me to the other side of the park before they halted. My eyes sparkled with hope , there was a boy walking this way.
"Hey ! What the hell do you think your doing , kiddnapping a poor helpless girl like that?" He demanded.
I rolled my eyes , I am not helpless , okay well maybe a little but whatever.
"Put her down,"he ordered them.

"Hell no, she's fiesty , hot and I bet she's good in bed.

Ew,I think I just barfed in my mouth .I thought to myself.

"I said put her down,"he groweld as he repeated himself.

"Or what?" Zac sneered ,"what will you do about it?"

"This,"said mystery boy . Zac looked confused for a second but then mystery boy punched him square in the face. Zac fell back holding his nose while his 'posse' surrounded him checking if he was alright. Zac pushed then aside and got back up aiming to punch mystery boy. Mystery boy said," I dare you to try, what I just did right now was a warm up, it wasn't my best shot. Do you really wannasee what happens when I go all out? Hmmm I don't think so."

Zac dropped me on the ground and he and his group slunked way.
I rubbed my head groaning in pain.

The mystery boy stuck out his hand to help me up and untied the bandanna from my mouth.

"Are you alright? He asked leading my over to the bench and ushering me to lie down.

"Y-y-yeah , thanks" I said stuttering because of his close proximity. What the hell , who am I . Pull it together Bella.

"Thanks -" I trailed off , not having known his name

"Grayson, the name is Grayson." He said. I stared up into his hazel eyes , mezmorized .
"And you are ?" He asked .
"Bella,the name is Bella ." I replied with a smile.

"Well , I should get going ," I said ,standing up.

"That's all I get?" He smirked "no hug , maybe a kiss?" He asked clearly fooling around and flirting with me.

" Nope." I said teasing him.

He faked disappointment but not for long because he couldn't fight the urge to smile at me.

"Can I at least get your number ?" He asked with a fake pout before breaking out into a cheeky grin.

I pretended to think but in reality I already knew what I was going to say . I heaved a fake heavy sigh and answered "Fineeee" before breaking out into my own grin. He handed me his phone and I went to contacts and added myself to his phone and saved myself on there as Bella , then handed it back to him

"Well , I guess I'll see you around," I said as I started to walk away.

"Bella , wait" called Grayson.
I paused , and turned around.

Grayson walked up to me and wrapped his arms around me . I froze not knowing what to do. I slowly returned his embrace. I felt tingles where he held me and I felt a strange sense of peace when he held me.

I pulled away , my face flushed with red.
"See you soon babe" he winked then strolled away.
I rolled my eyes then turned around and continued walking , but secretly I loved the way he called me babe.
I mentally scolded myself "Bella , get a grip you just met the guy,there's no way you can already be crushing on him. There's no such thing as love at first sight ,right?"
