As I lay in my room I had a flashback to 7 years ago.That fateful day....*flashback*I remember sitting in the lounge with my parents, Tamara and Reinaldo Thorne I was only ten and we were watching my favorite show Full house when suddenly we heard a bang coming from outside. We rushed outside and saw the sky was unusually dark for a Saturday afternoon. It also seemed like a tornado was heading this way. All of a sudden rain started to pour down on us. We sprinted inside and my parents said "Bella go down to the basement and stay down there till we get back." "Where are you going?" "We are going to Elderly Acres to check in on your grandparents. " "Please don't leave me "I whimpered. "Honey we'll be back just promise me you'll stay down there and don't come up until we get back." my mom ordered. We heard another bang , "go honey" my mom urged so with one final plead I grabbed my favorite book and hurried down to the basement. I heard the door slam shut and I knew I was all alone. I tried to distract myself by reading. I said to myself over and over again everything's gonna be fine. I heard the wind picking up speed and i realized that the tornado was right outside so I said a quick prayer. "Dear lord, please look after mommy and daddy in this storm and please keep gran and gramps safe too , Amen" I heard another bang but louder that told me that our neighbors roof has fallen off. The rain poured down while the tornado ripped everything in its path to shreds. After about an hour everything came to an end. I was grateful and went up stairs to see if my parents were back. I walked outside and gasped the town was a wreck there were tree's scattered everywhere , broken furniture , and pieces of buildings . I ran across town and reached Elderly Acres . It was in pieces there was not a person in sight. I started to panic "MOM"I called "DAD" "Anyone please HELP ME" "GRAN , GRAMPS "I screamed tears streaming down my face. A lady walking around heard me and walked over to me " Hi what's the matter?" She asked "My-my mom , dad ,gran and grandpa" I sobbed she reached into her bag and pulled out a cellphone "Hello? I need a social worker here at Elderly Acres." Then she dropped her phone and turned to me. "What's your name sweetie?" "Bella" I whispered shell-shocked. She nodded grimly " I'm afraid your parents didn't make it..." "No" I whispered "No,no NO!" I shouted .Thats when I realized they were  gone and never coming back.
