Justin's POV
"Here's your money, Bell. Take it or leave it. I'm done negotiating with you! You bring my money and drugs later then we discuss every time! You shouldn't have gotten into this if you don't know how to do it on time."
That Bell always pissed me off. I felt horrible because I missed my 'date' with Alex. That made my mood even worse because I was looking forward to it.

"Oh Bieber." He spat. "Can't you see you dragged yourself into this? You put yourself and your best friend over there into danger. You could have ran different directions yet you're here standing in front of me. Now like I was saying, I gave you the drugs you wanted. What else do you what?" His eyes and words were teasing me. No words can describe the hatred I have towards him.

"Forget it for now. I have other business more important than this at the moment. We'll continue to discuss this next week." And with that Ryan and I left the scenery.

In my mind I was worrying about how I would explain all of this to Alexandria. I hope she'll still be willing to talk to me.

"Hey justin, what's going on? Are you okay?" Wow, does she really care? She barely knows me. I need her trust and she needs mine. I need to protect her.

"Are you safe.. At home? Please tell me you are." I can't help but sound extra protective. I didn't care at the moment.

"Yes Justin I'm fine! Where are you? Are you okay!? Meet at my house! Please explain what's going on." She's actually interested. She really IS worried. No I don't want that! I want her happy!

"On my way, um, where do you live exactly?" Yup. That's not awkward. Defiantly, nice one justin, just smooth.

I dropped Ryan off at his house and to my surprise was only ten minutes from Alex's. I parked and ran up to her front door and rang the door bell to which had an annoying ring. It wasn't long before someone opened the door.

Oh great. The first person I meet had to be her father. "Hi sir, is Alexandria here?" I sounded confident or so I thought. He chuckled at me but cleared his throat and with a loud strong voice said

"why you must be a FRIEND am I mistaken?" All that emphasis on 'friend' dude seriously? One day I'll be your son in law.

"Yes sir! I just wanted to speak to her and give her congratulations on her victorious game." He nodded but I felt like he thought I wanted something more.

"Come in son, make yourself comfortable while I go get her. Alex! Your friend- what's your name son?" 'Justin.' "Your friend Justin's here!"

He's gonna be saying that a lot if I'm not mistaken. It was silent for a bit but then I heard fast footsteps down the stair case. And there she was. As stunning as ever but with a different expression on her face. Like a face that has been worried and stressed for a while.

She came running into my arms hugging me tightly like she didn't want to let go. I couldn't help but return the same affection but felt the most awkward I had ever felt because her father was standing right there.

He obnoxiously cleared his throat giving confused looks towards us. "I'll be in my room if you need me. Don't get too attached if you know what I mean."

And that immediately made us push off of each other. Alex took my hand and made me sit with her on the couch. "Justin, please, what's happening?" She made immediate eye contact with me but her eyes were filled with worry and excitement.

"Alex, you barely know me and I barely know you, so I can't tell you with out getting to know each other. I need you to trust me. I need to trust you and I know it will happen. I want you to feel comfortable with me and vise versa." I said it in all honesty and she seemed to listen.

"I understand, but I feel like I can instantly tell you anything and you can too. But at the same time I don't even know you. I don't know what I'm putting myself in and you don't either. I want us to be friends and work up." She started blushing when she said that and started looking down but I used my free hand and placed it under her chin and made her face back up to mine.

"Alex, our friendship has started. We just need to believe it will all work. Trust me because I trust you." She smiled and it was beautiful. A piece of her hair fell to her face making me push it back behind her ear.

She started blushing and again, started looking down. "don't do that, you're so beautiful. Keep your head up.You can be comfortable with me, Alex. Please, I'll take you out for breakfast tomorrow morning and I promise I'll tell you everything about me. Well bond like real friends do and I'll tell you anything you want to know. Trust me." She hugged me and agreed.

We got up and I hugged her once more as she left me at the front of her door. She leaned in closer to my ear and whispered "I trust you. Can you trust me?" And she planted a kiss on my cheek and closed her door. My heart was pounding rapidly and with that I could go home and sleep happy for the first time since I met her.
