Chapter 22

Jimin's Pov

I was so fucking exhausted from today.

Rush hour, disturbing alphas, a employee not coming in so we were short on staff which was bad cause we need every single one of our staff and there were a few mishaps.

When I say I wanted to just walk out the café door and not return for a week was a understatement, I wanted to leave for 3 months. Oh did I forget to mention that Youngjae also almost gave birth to his cute twin pups today at the café, yeah it was just no, nada, ani.

Almost every alpha tired to jump him but thankfully Jin and JB were both here around that time or Youngjae would have............ or rather not because JB almost slaughtered every single alpha on sight in the café. But anyways my day has been just magnificent, how about yours?

I crashed into one of the chairs in Jin's office in the back to take a breather.

If I knew all these events would have occurred today, I would have stayed in bed watching a k-drama all snuggled up in my warm blanket and eating junk food.

As I was lost in my thoughts, Jin walks in dragging his feet to his desk and sits in his chair with a thump groaning.

"Hard day, huh" I say. "Yes, I'm sick and tired of today, I just want to close shop and sleep for the rest of the day" he grumbles out. "I have exactly the same idea" I chuckled out. "I think I'm going to close up shop a hour early today, I can't handle anymore workload or surprises today" he mumbles.

"Agreed".

It's already 4:30 pm in the afternoon and the cafe doesn't close till 5:40 pm but Jin decide to close shop up and I couldn't agree more on his decision.

Jin went out and told the customers we were closing early due to some circumstances and everyone had 15 minutes to finish up what they had and leave. After everybody and everything was cleaned up me and Jin went to his house to talk some tea and watch a movie. We planned on inviting Hoseok but he was busy with his new dance academy and setting things up. I was happy for him to find his dream and I couldn't wait to go and dance or watch his teachings.

I went and sat on Jin's couch while he went and actually made us some hot chamomile tea with a few slices of corn bread and chocolate bread. I looked at the clock and saw it was already 6pm and I had to leave by 8:25pm to go meet up Yoongi in Goddess Pines at 8:30pm.

He actually stunned me and made me feel nervous with his questions from yesterday. I kind of do want to get close to him and tell him about me because we're mates but also because I want him to know about me, just like how I want to know about him.

I felt my cheeks become flustered and I tried to calm myself down from my thoughts. Yoongi really does have an effect on me but I can't help it, he's cute but can be scary at times but so can I. Damn if the old me knew I was gushing over my mate right now, I wouldn't believe it for a second, but here we are.

Jin came out of his kitchen with this nice white porcelain tea set and put it down on his living room table. He went back to the kitchen and brought out the bread and two plates. "Alright, would you like some chamomile tea my good sir Jimin?" Jin asks politely straightening his back. I chuckled "Why yes sir Jin, it would be so kind of you" I act along.

He gently poured the hot tea in my porcelain cup as I watched. I picked up my cup, delighted by the smell as I brought the cup to my mouth and carefully drank the hot tea as to not burn my tongue. "How is it?" Jin asked me. "Wonderful as always Jin" I say while taking a other small sip.

Jin smiled and poured himself a cup of tea and drank it quietly.

A silent, relaxing atmosphere formed in the room as we enjoyed our tea and some tasty bread. We sat in the silence for a few more minutes before Jin broke it.
