Chapter 4

I started to feel depressed.

I missed my dad so much.

I had so many questions running through my mind.

Where is he?Why did he have to disappear? Was it my fault? Did I come to deserve this? And most importantly. Was he dead or was his heart still beating?

I slide down the wall and pulled my knees to my chest.I cried for the second time in my life. I cried.

I had my walls built up so high but they just came tumbling down.

As I stopped my crying I remembered the last words my dad said to me.

Flashback

"Honey you listen to me you have to be strong.okay?You need to never let your guard down. All the years I trained you to protect yourself was to make you strong.But baby girl the rest is up to you to make sure you continue to be that.Never ever give up on anything. If you ever come across a event were you don't know what to do remember what I taught you."

"Close your eyes."

"Take a deep breath."

"Think and concentrate on a solution."

"I know you will be able to do that because your such a bright girl."

"I love you Melissa".He said as he hugged me.

"I love you to daddy". I replied and hugged him back.

I watched as he went out the door to go to back to work.

"I will be home later"he said before he shut the door.

That was the last time I saw my dad.

I decided that I needed to be strong for him.

I stood up and wiped my eyes.

I am going to find this kidnapper and those boys.

First though I had to learn how to do something.

But I needed someone to help and teach me how to do that.

I took a breath in deciding I was ready to learn.

"Brianna."
