Emiry

Day five of going to a new school went pretty well, i didn't sleep in class today which is great, Brien got me a cookie dough ice cream when we saw an ice cream truck pass by and practically run like we're chased by zombies.

It was good day.

But of course it didn't last all day.

Once i got home i was thinking of watching some movies, re-read my harry potter books and make pancakes for dinner.

My mon ruined the girls night i planned for myself -which also only consist of one member aka myself- by calling me down.

"EMIRY."

"YEAH?"

"COME DOWN HERE."

"Ughh." i groaned as i get off my bed.

I went down the steps to see my mom all dressed up in her maroon dress.

"Are you- woah what are you wearing?" my mom made a disgusted face.

I look down to my kitty fluffy slippers and my cotton shorts then back at her.

"What? I'm pretty sure this is household appropriate." she sighed.

"We're meeting my friend Maura today remember?" she said as she adjust her handbag over her shoulder.

"Oh yeah, shit." I cursed under my breath.

"Yeah now go change into something decent." my mom shooed me while pushing me up the stairs.

My feet were dragged by myself as i went up the stairs cause i really don't want to go to some awkward diner with my mom's friend.

I quickly picked an outfit consist of dark blue jeans and a black and white stripped crop top.

I ran my brush through my auburn colored hair hoping to minimize the frizziness it has. But no it just adds up to it.

When i was done my dad had joined my mom in the living room wearing a blue dress shirt and some fancy shoes, i'm assuming he just went home from work.

"Em get down here!" My mom shouted which made my ears bleed since i'm standing right behind her.

"I'm here mom gosh." I replied while rubbing my ears out of the impact.

"Great let's go."

But she stopped when she scanned my outfit.

"Em i told you to wear a dress didn't i?"

"Mom i'm not wearing a dress, if you don't want me to wear jeans than it's fine i don't want to be here anyways."

The words that came out of my mouth sound harsher then I intended and I instantly felt bad.

"Fine, let's go."

We didn't drive to the place cause my mom said it was just a few blocks away and we're also saving up on gas.

The house ended up to be only three blocks away but my mom isn't so sure herself when we stopped in front of the house.

The three of us stand in front of a huge, simple and modern looking house. The walls were dominated by a white and black color and there are different kinds of flowers on the lawn outside the house.

"Are you sure this is the house?" My dad asked.

"Pretty sure."

"And what makes you so sure?"

"Once he told me she love flowers, you can totally see that." She said as she took a step on the stoned trail that leads to the house.

Me and my dad followed behind her and when we reached the porch my mom gave my dad a look before faintly knock on the wood.
