A/N: Well, the dreams (there were two), happened at different times but I will count them in the order that I dreamed each one. They are not really "dreams", they seem to be more like memories. The first "dream" happened in 1988 and the second one happened in 1982, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on the last day of the year.
Another very important fact: These dreams take place in another "universe". You know, my "Annieverse" has several universes, so several different futures. In this "universe", months after John released "Double Fantasy", he was killed, I got to know about it after one of my shows, I was in my dressing room with a terrible feeling that something bad had happened, then I received a phone call and this changed my life. Unfortunately when I got to the hospital, there was nothing I could do, it was too late.
After that, I spent all my time with the children, they were growing up and time passed and I decided not to get involved with any other man. Several times, I needed help with the kids, so May Pang (John's secretary and my friend), as well as several close friends helped me as much as possible, especially while I was on tour, I couldn't stop!
From so many friends, Paul was the one who helped me the most with the kids, they saw him as a "second father", Paul and I became very close as time went by, we made albums together, movies, so a beautiful friendship turned into something I didn't foresee: Love.
It was something so unpredictable for both of us, especially because he was with Linda. The last time I "saw" Paul was in Rio de Janeiro, and from that day on, I did my best to stay away from him, but as you guys will see, it didn't work out.
