Feb 11 Maggie
I started shaking the others to get them awake.
And they all mumbled things I couldn't understand. Finally, we got them all up. "Tyler said he heard something" I said. "Are you sure it wasn't the wind?" Connor joked. "Don't even go there" Tyler said a little embarrassingly. "He thinks there's someone in here" I said, realizing that it could've been the wind or some branches. "Well let's just go and check it out" Ashton said.
We opened the door from the room we were sleeping in, and started walking slowly. Connor carried a baseball bat and Harper carried a flashlight. We had to stop a few times to listen for footsteps, we heared a couple, so we knew someone is inside.
We started to hear people laughing from a far. Some were deep laughs and some were high laughs. And they were all coming from different directions.
Then someone started pulling my arm, trying to pull me somewhere. I started throwing punches. "Something's got me!" I yelled. They all turned around to see me trying to break the grip from this thing. Connor comes to help, the others had to keep an eye on our backs. The thing was mumbling things, but I had no time to listen.
Soon out of nowhere groups of people started coming and attacking. About 10 or 11 groups.
Someone pushed me to the ground and grabbed me by the arms and legs and started kicking my ribs. The pain pierced inside of me. Soon I saw Ashton come marching over and starts punching the people that had me, I was then free, but of course my ribs still ached badly.
