Sleepless nights is like having someone whispers into your ear

That will never go away like thunderclouds and raining so loud that you can hear

Their pain and sorrow, like you are drowning in your dreams of that piano that you keep

Hitting the wrong note whether it is an eighth note or quarter note of how long you can weep

In those quiet nights that no one ever questions you whether you are okay or not or even how

You are sleeping at night or don't worry, I'll get you some more melatonin so that you know

How to keep your serotonin calm where is not driving you insane and you are hyperventilating

Those attacks of tears, sorrow, also don't forget that numbness on that grocery list of how I

Am feeling but don't worry I'll keep smiling for you those sleepless nights takes me away in

The dreams of fear.
