Flashbacks...

Wilbur had decided to go back to you and Tommy's house so you both said your goodbyes and you headed up to Dreams room which was down the hall.

*Knock Knock*

It was a few seconds but Dream finally opened the door it looked like he'd just woken up

Dream: Sorry y/n I just woke up I didn't know we'd be hanging out this early.

You laughed and went in the room closing the door behind you, you set your stuff down on the bed...which included your dead phone and clothes Wilbur had bought you.

Y/n: do you have a charger my phones been dead for almost a week and I'm sure Tommy thinks I'm dead or something.

Dream: Yea it's over there, I tried texting him and everyone else but they all blocked me.

Y/n: even George?

You didn't know if you wanted him to answer that question it still hurt knowing that he cheated on you but you were coming around to giving him another chance.

Dream: I actually blocked him I figured it was for the best, I was serious when I told you I loved you and I know I messed up but I just miss us....

Your heart dropped a bit mainly because you missed him and you missed the way he'd look at you and the way he'd just protect you even when you didn't know it.

Y/n: I told this to Wilbur too so I just want this day or two to be about us not what happened not what you did or didn't do just us, Can you do that?

Dream: I can do that.

He smiled at you and there it was the feeling you once had for him was back at that moment you knew that maybe things could go back to normal.

There was only one bed yet again but you didn't mind mainly because it's just a bed right? Nothing has to happen.

You had laid down mainly because you were exhausted from the past week, so much happened. You never gave yourself a break you constantly thought about the time you found out he cheated and the time he apologized and basically gave you the closure you wanted but for some reason you felt relief .

You were about to fall asleep when you noticed it had started to rain, you sat up and went to the window. It was a nice view mainly because you guys were on the third floor.

Dream: You really like rain huh?

Y/n: Yes I do, it calms me down it kinda just clears my mind it's like a vacation for a bit because I focus on the sound of the rain hitting the ground I don't focus on my problems I'm just here.

Dream saw the look in your eyes when you saw lighting it was like a kid in a candy store he knew you were at peace so he opened the curtains as far as they would go and opened up the blanket and you both laid there watching the rain and the lightning.

"Thank you Dream I needed this"

You didn't get any response so out of curiosity you turned around to see him fast asleep, you smiled and scooted closer to him and to your surprise he put his arm over you, you were happy. Maybe he was your person or your "soulmate" Maybe he was just yours.

He leaned into your ear and whispered "I love you"
