(So I don't know any festival games played in Japan so imma just stick with the normal festival games here where I'm from)

You were amazed at how bright everything was and how large some of the food stands and rides were. You've never really been to a fair and when you have those very few times you were always busy doing something like finding demon slayers. Muzan wasn't fazed though, he's seen things like this hundreds maybe thousands of times. Of course, you didn't know this. Muzan then looked over at you, seeing your eyes wander everywhere, he found it adorable how excited you were to be there.

"So what is it you want to do first?" He asked.

~Time skip~

"Yes!" You yelled after getting the ring on the bottle. (ring toss) "Thats ten points." you smiled. Muzan was having trouble though. He wasn't very good at the fair games and every now and then you could see him get really angry but you always just laughed at him and helped him figure it out, which he actually seemed grateful for. The game he hated the most was ping pong toss, you couldn't really help him with this one because you yourself kinda sucked at it and it didn't help that the person working the game stand was an asshole. Every time Muzan had missed, the employee would come up with a snarky comment. You swore Muzan would kill that person then and there in front of everyone but he didn't. 'Thank god' was all you could think to yourself as the both of you left that stand and moved on to another. The next game the both of you played was balloon dart throw. Muzan was really good at this one, he only missed once while the other times getting spot on, even with the dull darts. You on the other hand weren't very good at this one, either you missed or the dart bounced off the balloon which was so stupid. Muzan seemed to notice your frustration because he then walked over and stood behind you.

~Y/N POV~

I started to get pissed at this game, like how the fuck does a dart bounce off a damn balloon?! The darts are barely even sticking to the board, they are so fucking dull. As I started to get even more frustrated f/n walked over and stood behind me, I instantly could smell the strong cologne. A shiver went down my spine as I felt him press against me, breath against the back of my neck, his face then moved besides mine as he grabbed my arm. He held it up and started to show me how to throw it.

"Like this." He said in a soft monotone voice while fixing my stance and how I held the dart. His hands staying on mine to aim the dart at the balloon, then guided my hand back with his own. "When throwing make sure to lightly flick your wrist and follow through with your movements," he whispered by my ear making sure not to be so loud for he was right there. Following his movements, I did as he said and then threw the dart. 'I hit the balloon!' I thought with a large smile on my face.

"Good, now try it without my guidance." He said stepping to the side.

"Okay," I said with enthusiasm. Doing as he said I lifted my arm up pulling back and then threw the dart with a small flick of my wrist making sure to follow through.

"Sweet! Thanks!" I said laughed as soon as I noticed I hit the balloon.

"No problem." He replied with his lips curling into the smallest smile. You couldn't help but notice that smiling seemed to be a weird thing for him because of his smile... if I can even call it that, was very short-lived.

~

You and Muzan claimed your prizes after throwing a few more darts. You were having a lot of fun and hoped he was having fun as well. Muzan wasn't one to show much emotion and you knew that from the short time you've hung out with him.

The entire time while at the fair you kept seeing and smelling this thing called funnel cake. But waited last second to get some. It was getting darker and darker and people started to leave, multiple stands closing too.

"Be right back, I need to have a chat with that ping pong stand person before we leave." Muzan said. You knew what that meant and didn't care. 'that person was an ass anyway.' you thought to yourself.

"Okay, Imma run to one of the food stands before they close, I want some funnel cake. Wany anything?" you asked.

"No, I'm fine. Come back over here when you're done." He said before walking away towards the now closing ping pong stand a few streets down. Quickly turning around, you headed to the food stand. They were cleaning up and ready to shut the sliding window.

"Wait!" you said just barely getting there before it closed all the way.

The person there hummed in response.

"I'm so sorry but could I get a funnel cake, sorry it's so last minute."

"Haha, you're in luck I have one already ready to go." They replied grabbing the funnel cake from the small counter in the stand.

"Here you go ma'am, enjoy."

"How much will that be?" You asked reaching into your small pocket.

"No need ma'am, would have ended up in the trash if ya didn't come." He said giving a smile then closing the sliding window.

'sweet! free funnel cake.'

You walked over to where you and Muzan would meet up again and sat on the bench in the middle of the small opening. Almost no one was at the fair anymore, and the once brightly lit streets were dark and eerie. You sat there eating but paused, you felt like you were being watched. Setting the cake down you got up, then looked over at the other side of the open area. There was a man.

"You!" They screamed through gritted teeth. "You killed my brother!" They screamed again, unsheathing their sword. You just stood there and smiled, another demon slayer to kill.

"I did?" You replied unsheathing your sword as well. "Wish I could say I'm sorry... but I'm not." You gave an evil grin then ran straight towards them.

~Muzans POV~

Wiping the blood from my hands I looked down at the body, they were pathetic. Apologizing over and over not even trying to put up a fight, that only pissed me off more. But I can think of other things to do later, I need to meet up with y/n. Walking towards where I told her to wait I heard the clashing of swords and constant screams and anger, quickening my pace I saw it. Y/n fighting a demon slayer, y/n seemed to be having fun because the entire time she was smiling. That seemed to piss off the demon slayer because they started to attack her without thought. Big mistake, attacking without thought leaves you open and easy to strike so it didn't surprise me when they swung their sword towards y/ns throat she just ducked down, kicking their feet from under them. Once they hit the ground she quickly got on top of them shoving her sword against their throat.

"Are you scared?" She asked. The demon slayer started to cry silently then slowly nodded their head.

"Good." Was all she said before driving her sword through their throat. They tried to scream but the blood pooled in their mouth and only gurgled cries were let out. She's definitely one of the most interesting humans I've come across.
