"Even the right man, can make a woman cry"

-Anonymous

I

I woke up to the sound of a beeping machine. When I opened my eyes, all I see is white, where am I? Looking at my right I see my Mom sleeping uncomfortably at a bench nearby. Looking closely at her, she has bags under her eyes, her neat hair is disheveled, her make-up is smudged and she looks like she's aged more than 10 years. And looking at my left sleeping at the chair is my Dad, just like my Mom he looks like shit. Looking around seeing machines and an IV, realization came up to me, I'm at the hospital and I'm alive. I sighed in relief, that's when I remembered, memories of what happened yesterday flooded my brain.

Trying to sit up and get away from here, pain erupts all over my body, making me yelp in pain thus waking up my parents. The moment my Mom saw me she was already tearing up and stood beside my bed cooing me and telling me everything's going to be alright and that I'm ok. My Dad cleared his throat making us look up at him, he had a glass of water and some pain reliever and told me to drink it.

After taking my meds, my Dad and Mom were staring at me. Mom decided to broke my reverie and asked me a question I was not ready for, "Why did you do it?"
