Hinata thinks of killing himself and Sakusa encourages him not to do it.

"Hinata Shoyo! I um— loved you e-ever since we were little!"

The word love sent a vibration through his heart. It was knocking at his hearts door. But, he won't answer. He won't break his best friends heart by acting like he loves him.

Or—will he act? Is it acting?

He won't take advantage of his Sakusa's naiveness.

"Kiyoomi? I don't have feelings for you."

The birds inside Sakusa's heart died. It wasn't... cheering anymore. A-almost like—

"But, thank you for confessing to me. I don't want you keep that burden hidden forever."

Sakusa was taken back. Burden?

"B-bur..den?"

Hinata realized what he said.

"Ah! K-kiyoomi I-I didn't mean it like that! Please don't hate me!"

Kiyoomi held back tears of regret. He definitely shouldn't have told him that. He did not like this feeling.

"Haha... am I not your type, Shoyo-Kun?"

How could he say that? Kiyoomi was attractive, nice, naive. Nothing about him you could hate. Unless, you have a sucky personality.

But, was it— true? Did he actually not have feelings for him? Or was all just...

"K-kiyoomi! D-dont make me feel bad! I'll break!"

"Shoyo-Kun."

"Hm?" Hinata replied, not looking away from his book.

"My question... from 2 weeks ago... you— you never answered me. Can you be honest and answer me? Please?"

Hinata let out a low chuckle and closed his book.

"Yes you are, Kiyoomi. I guess you are my type.. but, I think we should take time for our actual feelings to decide if we like each other or not and not... force it?"

Kiyoomi blushed and rapidly nodded his head.

"That's exactly what we should do."

Hinata didn't know what to do. What if Sakusa didn't like him after what Hinata did to himself? What if Sakusa regretted liking Hinata, after what Hinata did to himself?

Would Sakusa forgive him?

Hinata had no reason to kill himself. He just... felt the need to do it? Almost like that one feeling— where you feel like you don't need to live. Usually, it'll last for about a month but, for Hinata, it lasted for about 2 years. Nothing sad or unusual happened to him. But he felt the need to do it. He needed it and he wanted it.

He hasn't talked to anyone about it, even though he was open about everything, this was one thing he didn't want anyone to know.
