"What?" Kyujin's eyes widened. "I'm not dead—wait, do you know who I am?" She questioned, shoving her blue phone back into her sweatpant's pockets after checking the time. Her gaze stayed on Jay and she planned to keep it that way till he bothered to answer her question. Jay, however, didn't utter a single word as he looked around and the only thing he ever did was wave to the girl, asking her to come closer with his hand.

"Didn't you get into a huge crash? A car crash?" The boy asked, still looking around as if he were in some type of murder-mystery movie. Jake and Sunghoon were inside the circle as well, just as curious as Jay was.

The boy's overdramatizing behaviour caused Kyujin to roll her eyes. It felt like they were mocking her so she sighed before turning around and skipping onto the bus that had arrived minutes prior. Her actions took the group of boys by surprise and they soon followed, hopping right in after banging on the bus's doors to let the three of them in.

"What are you—Hey!" Kyujin shouted as she was soon sandwiched by the group of boys in the seats right at the back of the bus. "Why are you all literally following me? That's sketchy." Kyujin looked them up and down and Jay was already down to throw hands. She didn't even flinch as he jumped at her.

"You can't just appear and be like, 'Sup! I'm Kyujin! I'm alive and not dead at all, yipee!' and then leave!" Jay squinted as if he were stating the obvious. The girl just looked at him in utter disbelief. "The news of your car crash was so monumental that it made it all the way to Seoul! People began making theories and stuff, saying you died yet here you are, alive and well!" He sat back and laid against the seat after his grand explanation.

Even so, Kyujin was feeling more perplexed than ever. "Didn't the crash happen... In Seoul?" It had sounded more like a question than a statement and it had clearly confused the three boys. After seeing their reactions, she continued: "Wait—I'm confused. I was told by my parents that the crash happened in Seoul after we moved here." Kyujin didn't even care that they were lowkey strangers, she just needed someone to pour all her uncertainty to. And Jake, Sunghoon and Jay happened to be there.

"What? I was told the crash happened in Daegu?" Sunghoon furrowed his eyebrows as his eyes travelled back and forth between Kyujin and his friends. "You know? That's where you grew up, right?"

"Didn't the news say the crash happened in Busan? I swear I heard the news anchor say it—and she's my cousin!" Jay tilted his head, his statement was different from Kyujin's and Sunghoon's which confused the clique a lot. Then, as if it were staged, the three turned to Jake who hadn't said anything yet.

"No, yeah, I heard somewhere that it happened in Seoul, but now, I'm not too sure. Plus, it was two years ago, the news has certainly died down," He spoke up and his words were enough to put Kyujin into deep thought. The boys went dead silent after they had watched the younger girl grab her phone and unlock it. "Woah! Is that the newest phone?!" Jake squealed, covering his mouth with both his hands. But, he apologized after seeing his friends and Kyujin with serious faces. He figured that it wasn't the time.
