Jimin is at the table waiting for Evelyn to come. He decided to say his current situation to her and explain how helpless he is right now. Maybe seeing her, talking to her might heal him.
Jimin's slowly crept up into a smile as he saw his girl walking towards him with her eyes wandering in search of him. Once they made eye contact, she quickly ran onto his arms. That's how they liked it. Being together in each other embraces. They had few stares around the restaurant but they couldn't care less. All that mattered to them was spending each minute together happily.
"I missed you, Eve". "I missed you too, Chim!". They sat down back together ordering each other's favorite. Jimin stared right into her soul as he placed his cheeks in his palms rested at the table and admired her comfortably. Her brown eyes, sharp jawline, straight hair that's blowing beautifully in the wind, those kissable lips, That's when he thought what if he misses her in his life, That thought quickly hitched his breath. He can't, never, imagine a life without her. He opened up, "Eve, There's something I wanna say to you!" He said with a serious expression. He held her hands between his as he looked at her. "What is it, Chim?'. She replied rather casually. "Did you reveal our relationship? Did your dad agree to our wedding?". She added.
"Babe, Do you trust me? Do you think we will stay together even if we go through many obstacles?" He asked. "What the hell Chim? Of course, I believe in us!" She stated back. "I haven't told you this yet but the company is at stake right now, it's facing a huge loss and it's gonna take months to fix it." He paused waiting for her reaction. She squinted her eyebrows in confusion while looking back at him. "So you didn't tell your dad nor are you planning to marry me anytime soon. Aint this what you're tryna say?". She asked seriously making Jimin nervous. "No Eve, Not like th-" "Don't get me started Jimin! You never have time for me, you've been delaying the talk of our wedding for almost a year! Don't tell me you fell out of love?"
"No, of course not! I can speak to my dad now if you want to". He said with a slight hope to calm her down. "Now? How would you run a family when your company is at loss? Would you by chance ask me to work at a cafe to pay our expenses?" She said making him taken aback.
"Eve-" He got cut off by her standing up. "I need some time, Jimin!! I'm sorry." with that she walked away.Jimin sat back down burying his head in his palms, He never expected this. He never thought she wouldn't understand him, all he hoped for today was them speaking this mess out and spending quality time together. But now, everything has changed!
