Leaving off from the last 3 chapters of Temptations and Vacations, many of you know that Adrien had gotten Mari pregnant. Marinette could not handle such a big responsibility at the age of 19, so she decided to get an abortion. Adrien went with her for support and the termination was successful. No one except for Alya knows about the pregnancy or the abortion, and they plan to keep it that way.
Adrien has become very protective over Marinette. Ever since the incident at the club and the fight with Luka, It's been hard for him to trust any guys around her. (except for Nino.)
He's not overbearing or becoming toxic. He just wants to make sure that no one makes her uncomfortable or gets too close without her consent. It's honestly kind of cute.
Marinette and Alya have been looking for jobs to help support themselves while in college. Mari's been working at the bakery since she turned 16. She was making $12.50 an hour, and at the time it wasn't horrible. She didn't have to pay bills or any extra fees. Now she needs to find a job with better pay because of rent. Adrien told Mari that he'd help her if she ever needed it, but Marinette hated the idea of Adrien paying for anything for her. It just didn't feel right.
Adrien has been making a good amount of money from his job as a model for the Agreste brand. He also has a large sum of money in his savings from his mother. He's pretty set if you ask me..

Alya and Nino are still going strong and they're both in the process of moving out to moving in.
Nino got a job at 'Born Bad Record Shop' but the pay isn't great. He's making enough to pay his half of the rent for him and Adrien's place though. Technically that's all that really matters..
