It's been over a week since we came back from the trip already. Time was slipping out of our hands like sand grains.
Jungkook's application got accepted two days back, it was final that he was going to Canada. Well, I was very much happy for him, he was getting into his dream college after all.
I was on my way to Jungkook's. We were going to look for apartments online, near his college where he could stay. The college dorm was already full, so we had to hurry before the others got filled too.
"Jungkook just adjusts anywhere. Make sure he chooses a good place, he'll listen to you more than what he'd listen to any of us." Taehyung said, as I got out of the car.
I hummed back in response, to which he just shrugged and drove away. I sighed heavily once, before turning towards the gate which Jungkook was already about to open. I forced a smile on my face.
He didn't even let me blink and wrapped himself around me, sheltering me with his protective arms. I hugged back.
I tried to pull away- "No- just, stay like this for a moment please." He said. I nodded.
He let a deep, warm breath spread over my neck and adjusted himself into my posture. Minutes passed by and we were still holding eachother, right in the middle of the street with the skies turning dim.
A faint honk in a distance, probably a block away- broke the silence, pulling us back to reality. I didn't want to let go just yet.
He unwrapped his arms and placed them on my shoulders, "Amm, you look cute today. Let's go in!" He said, sliding his hand into mine.
He smiled. It made me smile too. He pulled me into his house with a swing in his movements. He seemed happy and that lifted my mood too.
"Mom, dad?" I asked, looking around as I removed my shoes.
"They ain't home. Why do you think I asked you to come over instead of me coming over to your place?" He said, ever soo casually as if that happened everyday.
"I see." I replied, looking back at him with a smile.
His lips curved down.
"You aren't in your charms today Y/n. Are you okay? You aren't being your bouncy self." He asked, looking at me straight in the eye. Now I couldn't even lie.
"Just that, time is slipping off soo fast. When you hugged me right now- I realised how used to I am to you. How much I need your arms around me. And how I won't be able to feel your warmth for such a long time." I said, looking away in every different direction other than his eyes, as I explained.
"Y/n, don't do this to me please. It's not an easy decision, I told you that in the very beginning right? Don't worry, we will get through it together! And-" he said, lifting my chin up to make me meet his brown eyes, brightened by light falling on them, "you said it yourself,'it's not that big a deal.' "
