Lydia woke up, feeling the warmth of the sun on her skin. She didn’t hear anything at all; no cars, no birds and no people talking. It was oddly quiet. She opened her green, tired eyes and saw a blank, white wall right in front of her. Where was she? Lydia slowly sat up in the bed she lied in. It was white, well practically everything in the room was. There was a small table, also white, beside the bed with some wilted flowers in a vase. Probably roses, she thought. She recognized the soft floor from somwhere immediately as she putted her bare feet on it. The room smelled like..like... A hospital. Right, that's what this was, the white colours, everything clean, definately a hospital. But why was she there? Had she been in a car accident? She immedeatley thought of her boyfriend Mark and bestfriend Allison and got worried. Where were they? She had so many questions but no one to ask them. Wearing nothing but a hospital robe, Lydia started to get up from the bed and taking easy steps on her toes to the door. She was scared of what she would find out there. What if something terrible had happened? She couldn't remember anything about why she was here. The thin door made a cringy sound as she slowly pushed it. It wasn't a heavy door, but she suddenly didn't have any power in her arms or legs left as she saw what lied in the hospital hallway. There were a dozen dead bodies, rotten and guts laying all over the floor. It smelled terrible, like corpse. Because it litterally was corpses that smelled. She screamed, but barely not a sound came through her lips. She just stared at the corpses as her knees folded between her and she started to cry. What was happening? She fell to the white floor that was now deep red from blood with a dull sound. Hands soaked in blood, she grabbed the wall and managed to stand up. Then she turned around and suddenly-!

"Aaaah!" It was a screeching sound that made itself trough her lips caused by the sudden fear as she fell down on to the floor once again. She had felt a hand of touching her shoulder and grabbing it tight, and looking up she realized it was one of the corpses that had rosen up from death.

"Somebody help me!" She screamed, terrified of the monster right in front of her. It came closer and closer so she dragged herself trough the bloody floor, disgusion was the least thing worriyng her right now. She screamed for help again and heard footsteps running down from the end of the hallway. She didn't hear how many people it could be but the steps came closer and closer. The creature, which she thought was a zombie, reached down for her and she tended to kick it away. Lydia missed, but so did not the other person, they hitted the center of the monsters head with with a baseball bat and the insides spilled out on the foor.

She threw up after the sight of what just happened, and of course because of the horrible smell. The puke blended with the blood wich didn't look fresh at all. Not wanting to feel helpless, she turned around with shaking hands and legs to see who her knight in shining armor was. He had chocolate coloured hair and freckled, fair skin that was stained by blood like the hospital walls and floor. He wore a red flannel shirt under the also red hoodie with torn jeans and trainers. The boy looked her age or possibly older with the messy hair and high cheekbones. He was tall.

"Who are you? What is this? Where am I? Lydia cried.

"It's okay, come with me and I'll explain everything. I'm Stiles, by the way." The boy, who's name appereantly was Stiles, said with heavy breathes. He gave her his hand and she took it desperately. Stiles gripped her hand tightly and tried to help her stand up.

"I can stand up by myself, I'm not a child" Lydia somehow managed to stand up on her shaking legs.

"Whoa, I was just trying to help you. I haven't seen a pretty face like yours in ages." He smirked at her. Lydia rolled her eyes but she was acctually flattered. Mark had never called her pretty, or even complimented her, he'd just kinda...Been there. The tought of her boyfriend made her realize what just had happened.

"Where's Mark? And Allison? Please tell me you found them too."

"Easy girl. Let's get out of here and we'll tell you everything you need to know."

"What? Who's 'we'?"

"Me and the others. Let's go.
