Unusual Twists

Part 1- "Are you fine?"

The knob of the door twist opened making sound and the door wide opened, the person came inside.

Suddenly her face went pale.

The person marched towards the bed and angrily grabbed her arm tightly and was about to speak, just then he saw something.

Seeing the IV attached on the dorsal side of her palm, the person smirked.

He slipped his hand from her upper arm to the IV attached region, and pressed it mercilessly.

She screamed due to the pain in her hand but her throat already went dry and tears trickled down her beautiful but pale eyes.

"How dare you go out and get yourself in this situation?" he roared at her angrily still pressing her hand and grabbing her jaw tightly to make her look at him.

Fear was visible in her eyes.

The person didn't care about her condition and kept his hold tight on her.

"Please, Nooo" she fumbled.

She closed her eyes and more tears streamed down continuously as the needle pricked out and blood started flowing out making her hand, bed red.

And he kept laughing evilly.

Not able to take it anymore,

Priya screamed loudly, sweating badly.

Here, the already confused Ram panicked n ran towards her room.

He saw her, she was in deep sleep feeling nightmares in her dream, her body covered in sweat.

There was no one in the room except her.

He went to her, tried waking her up but she kept murmuring something which he couldn't understand and few tears spilled out form her eyes in sleep.

At last he jerked her and sprinkled some water on her face.

As soon as she opened her eyes, she tried to sit and without seeing here and there she hugged the person in front.

Her breathing seemed to stop for few seconds and her eyes could only see white around.

Ram was shocked for few seconds by her sudden action.

Yes, it was Ram, who had been hugged by her.

After a brief moment, she moved back composing herself and checked her hand for IV and sighed.

She thanked God by folding her hands that it was just a dream, a very dreadful dream and not the reality.

All the while, Ram kept looking at her in tension.

She didn't even look at him, and wiping away her tears she again sat taking her knees to her chest, lost somewhere.

She was sad, scared and jumbling up all the feelings together, she was numb.

The pain she is feeling today is terrific, the pain she had been feeling from past few terrible months, altogether had made her numb and expressionless.

She was drained, mentally more than physically.

Ram sighed looking at her.

"How serene she was looking yesterday and today seems to be the worst day for me to see her like this, so much in pain," he thought to himself.

He went out of the room, only to come again within few minutes and look at the same scenario.

"Are... you..."he was cut abruptly.
