It was late afternoon. The Kratt brothers were walking around about the edges of various cliffs, trying to locate a cougar and her cubs. Since the rising of the sun, they have been running around. They had a few sightings of a wild cat.It was late, until Chris stopped at the edge of a cliff. Over the edge was the wild cat. Her body was camoflage over the sands and rocks of the cliffs. Chris spotted her and said, "Martin! I found her!"
Martin came running to where Chris was. He looked at the calm cat. Her cubs, three of them, were jumping around her. One tiny one was neglected. Martin mentioned about the cub, "There's the runt. It needs help before it dies."
Chris relunted it, "Not a good idea, bro. If the mother finds us, we're dead!"
Their creature pods vibrated. One click and a transparent screen appeared before them. Aviva said, "Jimmy is transporting a long rope. Maybe you can lasso the cub and bring her here."
Just then, a rope appeared from thin air. Chris grabbed it and made a loose loop. Martin said, "Thanks, Aviva. We'll try to get her."
Chris tossed the rope over. Luckily the rope landed just outside the den. The mother cat wasn't aware that her runt was going to get captured. Chris pulled the rope over to the runt. The runt stood up and jumped right in the loop, Chris chuckled, "She's a quick one." Then he pulled the rope tight around the cub's waist. The cub looked dazzled as she tried to swat the rope.
Chris cupped the cub in his hand. In his grasp, the cub was no larger than his two hands. Martin called the gang and exclaimed, "The cub is in our hands!"
Chris came into the screen view and showed the cub to the gang, "She's tiny, but she's got excitement," He chuckled, "and teething too!"
The cub's teethe her master's fingers. Chris petted her little head with a couple fingers. She yawned and roared slightly. Suddenly, over the edge, a sharp roar rang out in the air. Martin said, "Momma found out. Let's get to the Tortuga and get her safe and sound. Chris cradled her little body and ran to the Tortuga behind Martin.
Aviva met the brothers at the door. Chris passed his hands to Aviva. Out of his hands unto hers, jumped a little cub. Aviva cooed over the critter and cradled her, "She's so adorable."
Koki came in with the kit, "Is the mother after you?"
Martin shook his head, "No, we got away before she could climb up and catch us."
Aviva fed the cub some medicine and smiled, "Alright, this medicine should help her to grow. You can send her back to her mother."
Chris cradled the sleeping cub. Martin said as he jumped in the Createrra, "Let's go!"
Chris jumped in the Jeep and Martin drove off. Chris lassoed the rope about a board and lay the cub on it and said, "I hope she knows where her milk and food will be."
Martin answered, "I'm sure she'll be fine."
Chris chuckled, "Amazing, you haven't named her yet."
Martin smirked, "Sandy."
Chris rolled his eyes and looked at the cub. Sandy woke up and stretched out. She sat on Chris lap and played with his zipper of his green shirt. Chris petted the kitten with a couple fingers softly. He laughed, "She's purring!"
Martin smiled, "She is a cat, bro."
The Jeep stopped close to the den. Chris came over with the cub in one hand and the end of the rope in his other. Sandy looked up at him and licked his face with her rough tongue. Chris chuckled, "I'm not your mother, Sandy. You're going back to your mother."
