Fire emerged past the dim lights of the barn, smoke gently hid the beamed lights just outside in the pastures - horses banged and kicked at their stalls neighing with fear and upsetness. The wood starts to crackle and burn, metal clinging loose - finally from all the kicks a few horses made it out into the pastures, but they were all cut up and weak from smoke. The majority of the horses remained in the barn unsure of what to do.
The one mare belonging to the prized heart - died. The mare was award-winning and all-around a horse nobody was to ever forget. Trixy was one horse that made up for another's loss.
By the time the owners even realized it, sirens had wailed up the drive. Cops and a firetruck pulled up near the barn taking care of the fire, as for the cops? They woke the owners, banging on the door so they were aware of the happening. How the fire happened? That would always remain a mystery. There was no evidence for what caused it, except for maybe dry hay was set in and the lamp lights tilted over.
The detective walked around and verified for now that, that is what had happened. He verified with the vet on which horses died, how long it would take to re-build, and most importantly, a talk with the owners about the discussion with the riders who lost such horses.

The next morning is when we got the call. The call broke my heart. Trixy was dead. In a barn fire. And now here we were on the plane to somewhere new, to start fresh. But for me? I didn't want to start fresh, cause to me starting fresh would only make me forget about the lovely shower.
I couldn't stop crying for what seemed hours on end, scrolling through all the memories, my eyes only got redder in color. She was an amazing jumper, jumping at 5'2'. Later on, in the week we were going to move up to 5'5-6' in jumps. It didn't take all too much time getting her into the jumping habits.
And now...here we are.
