Sting x Yukino

   Was it because of her beauty? Was it because of her kindness? Was it because of her strength in never giving up? Was it because of her smile, that helped him through everything?

   Maybe. Or it was just that he loved her.

   All the questions, they added up to be her. Yukino.

   But, there was more. Why did he love her?

  He loved her because she taught him the importance to care about friends, family. She taught him how to love. And he thinks it's beautiful.

   He loved the way she smiled, even in the dark moments. He loved the way it sucked all the bad away, even if it was a lot.

    This was love, if he wasn't mistaken, right?

    He looked at a little shell on his desk. He held it in his hands, observing every little detail. Putting it close to his ear, he could hear the waves.

    He remembered the day he got this.

     Yukino smiled. "Sting!" She said, and she caught his attention. "Yes, Yukino?"

"I got this from a job!" She said, and handed a little seashell to him. "It's beautiful, why'd you give it to me?"

Yukino blushed. "I-I want you to remember me when I go on a job, that I'm still here."

    Sting smiled. "Thank you, Yukino."

     He pressed the little shell to his lips, and whispered little words that only he would have known.

     Smiling, he laid the shell down. And he continued to do the paperwork for the guild. With a smile on his face.

     Yukino was walking back to the guild, when she spotted a seashell on the ground. 'Strange,' She thought, and picked it up.

    Pressing it on her ear, she listened to what it had to say.

    'I love you.'

    Smiling, she pressed her mouth on it.

   'I love you too.'
