Words I tell myself like a habit

Rona dried her hair while staring at the mirror on the small table beside her bed. She looked at her reflection. Her eyes were still red and swollen. A few days ago, Yang ahjumma who was the servant of Joo Dantae met her and threatened her. That woman came to ask about her mother's whereabouts and it happened on the day she was fired from work because news of her mother resurfaced. She cried in front of her house for a long time afterwards. Then today after two days had passed, when she hoped to get a job, she faced something that made her cry again. She hoped she'd get a job but unfortunately for her it turned out the address that she went to is the address that ahjumma lived in. It was that woman who asked her about part-time work. It was all for the sake of that woman's plan to find out where her mother was by trying to kill her. She came home crying, even in the bathroom she cried. Two days ago to this day, she continues to cry over her bad luck.

“It’s going be alright, it’s okay”

"Stop crying Rona!" Rona said to herself in the mirror.

"It's okay, you're used to it. This is normal for you. Everything will be alright." Rona was still talking in the mirror, cheering on herself.

“Someday, you’ll be able to smile.”

“Smile, Rona! Just smile. At least smile for yourself." Rona forced a smile in front of the mirror. But what happened was the tears came back. She immediately wiped away the tears that began to flow down her cheeks.

"It's okay, someday you will be able to smile again. It is okay. Wait a little longer, Rona. I'll make you smile again." Rona nodded slowly in front of the mirror. Promising her reflection in the mirror. She now only has this mirror to talk with, but that is enough.

Awkwardly into the mirror, I tried it anyway

Rona wiped the mirror on her small table. Almost every day she talked to the mirror. Talking to the image that is shown in the mirror, talking to her reflection, talking to herself. Either told about her day, told about her bad luck, or even when she missed her mother. Strange indeed, but this is her only friend now. She doesn't have anyone anymore. She was completely alone now.

It will all pass

She nodded firmly.

"Everything will be over, Rona. Don't you worry. This all will be over, you just wait." Rona encourages herself. There was nothing she should be afraid of anymore. She had experienced it all. Curses and abuses from people around her, bullied by her schoolmates, even now she almost got killed.

The delicate tears I held while counting the stars

There was nothing else she should cry about. Her bad luck wouldn't turn into good luck if all she did was cry. She managed to hold all of her struggle for a year. Counting the days while weeping over the days will be passed someday. All these things will come to an end. She will no longer have to hold back tears while counting the days. Someday, she will definitely pass the day with a smile. Yes, that day will surely come.

It will be pass

"That day will come, Rona. Don't worry. It surely will come."

Rona then continued drying her hair again. She will try to find a job again later. She will continue to struggle her way to survive. Maybe if she keeps trying, she will get it. Her mother was able to survive while raising her alone. Survived and raised her while paying off some debts belonging to her late father. Rona is Oh Yoonhee's daughter, of course she can get through the hardships and hardships of life that will come to her. Just like her mother, Rona encouraged herself that if her mother could pass through it, she could too.
