Chapter 3

Surprisingly you were able to sleep quite well, you almost forgot what had happened the night before. As you were waking up you nuzzled your head, still thinking you were cuddling the pillow.

Instead, you got a really nice smell as Kiri's body moved beneath you.

"Morning."
His low, sleepy voice sent tingles down your spine.

"I-I'm sorry..."
You pulled your arm off him and attempted to move away.

"Hey no need to be sorry!"
His arm was around you and he pulled you back into him.
"If you wanted to cuddle all you had to do was ask."

Your face heated up as you kept your head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat. He was so warm. How did he smell so amazing?

"I didn't mean to... I must have rolled over in the night..."
You looked up at him, just to see him smiling at you.

"I don't mind."
He gently stroked your back.
"I almost forgot how nice it was to sleep next to you."

You felt your heart jump as you smiled back at him and looked back down at his chest.
"You can't say such things..."

"I can, and I will."
He moved his hand up to play with your hair, gently stroking your head and you melted into him.
"I see that still works huh?"

"No fair Eijiro."
You happily sighed, feeling peaceful and nuzzling your head into his chest.

He chuckled slightly as he continued to play with your hair.
"So how are you feeling anyway?"

"Better thanks to you."

"As weird as it sounds, you might even feel better after seeing Kaminari's face."
Kiri smiled to himself.

"How?"

"While I was hugging you I used my quirk and headbutted him, pretty sure I broke his nose."

You sat up to look at him.
"You didn't!"

"I did."
He smiled, tucking a lock of hair behind your ear.
"It wasn't fair for him to remain unhurt after what he did to you."
You saw his brow furrow while you looked away, hoping he couldn't see the pink in your cheeks.

"I should probably be getting back to my room..."

"Yeah of course..."
Kiri got up and out of the bed so you could move.
"If the clothes are comfy... you can keep them."
He nervously rubbed the back of his neck.

You smiled at him, grabbing your clothes from the desk.
"Thank you Eijiro, for everything."

"Anytime."
He smiled back and opened the door for you so you could leave.

He shut the door smiling to himself, he was feeling giddy as his heart fluttered. He got to be close to you again, his best friend.

"Rebounding with Kiri huh?"
Bakugo grunted as you walked passed his room.

You looked at him and his arms were folded while he was resting against the doorframe.

"I'm not rebounding with anyone."

He snorted.
"You stay in his room all night and leave with his clothes on."

You narrowed your eyes at him.
"Eijiro is just being a good friend Bakugo. We've known each other for years, we've always done this."

He raised an eyebrow at you.
"You keep telling yourself that, idiot. You're using his first name."
He shook his head and headed back into his room.

You didn't even realise that you were and your face heated up again as you quickly headed back to your room to get ready for a shower.

After a long, hot shower you headed back to your room. As you put your hand on the door to open it a voice stopped you.

"Hey I knocked this morning but you didn't answer..."
It was Denki.

You sighed before turning to look at him.
"Probably because I don't want to talk to you."
You opened your door and started to walk in.

"Or maybe it's because you were with Kirishima."
His voice was accusatory but you mentally smiled as you saw his nose, it was already starting to heavily bruise.

"You have no right to judge me or assume anything, I'm not the one who fucked someone else."
You growled as you slammed the door in his face, locking it and taking a deep breath.

He quickly started knocking on the door.
"Come on, Y/N please. It was a mistake! You know I'd never do it to you on purpose."

"No, our relationship was a mistake Kaminari. Now leave me alone!"
You walked to your bed and laid down, plugging your earphones in to ignore any sound.

You sighed as your phone buzzed, but that quickly turned into a smile as you unlocked it.

Kiri: I heard the slam from my room, everything okay?

You: Everything is fine, it was just Kaminari trying to justify himself.

Kiri: Do I need to headbutt him again?

You: No, his nose is already bruising. Thank you though.

Kiri: :)

You smiled to yourself and pressed shuffle on your music before locking your phone.

"I can't believe he went to your dorm after that! The nerve!"
Mina said as you laid back on the grass.

You sighed.
"I should have expected it really."

"I mean, he has always been a bit of a perv..."
Uraraka added.

You laughed.
"I guess so. Most of his compliments were always about how hot I looked..."

"Enough about him! What about Kirishima?"
Mina giggled and sat up.

"What about him?"
You replied nonchalantly as you looked up at the clouds.

"Oh don't act dumb! You stayed in his room last night! I saw you walking back to your room with his clothes on!"

"No way!"
All the other girls said in unison, sitting up to look at you.

"Relax, nothing happened. I just stayed in his room."
You sighed and sat up, the girls intently looking at you.
"We used to sleep in the same bed a lot, before I started dating Kaminari."
You smiled.
"He's always been my closest friend, he's always there to keep me happy."

Mina rolled her eyes.
"Oh come on Y/N. We all know that's crap."

"Mina!"
You responded.

"Well she's not lying."
Momo added.
"Everyone can see how he looks at you, it's so obvious it's painful."

"I have no idea what you're talking about."
You looked down and played with your hoodie sleeves.

"Seriously? Even in our first year it was obvious."
Uraraka added.
"Speaking of..."

You looked up and followed Uraraka's eyes. Sure enough, Kirishima was walking with Bakugo and it looked like they'd just been to the gym. He was wearing a black tank top and sweatpants with a bag swung over his shoulder, laughing with Bakugo.

Your heart jumped as he looked over to you and waved, a big grin across his face. You waved back, smiling and blushing.

"See."
All the girls said at once.

"So did anything actually happen last night?"
Mina asked, grinning as the boys went into the dorms.

"Nothing really, we just woke up cuddling."

"That's so adorable!"
Uraraka squeaked.

You smiled to yourself again, remembering how warm and safe you'd felt. Remembering how you'd forgotten all about Kaminari until he mentioned him.

The conversation soon changed and your mind wandered, did he really like you more than a friend?
