Reki bounced on his heels as he searched the bag for his snacks, he grabbed the cookies first. He's been waiting all night to try them and was still as excited to since he first saw them. Langa was still walking down the stairs, unlike Reki who practically jumped three steps at a time.

"You're so slow!" Reki ripped open the 'open here' tab and ran up two steps, shoving a cookie in his friend's mouth while taking a bite out of his. Langa flinched, almost dropping the cookie. "Geez Reki- aggressive much?" He got a small glare from the boy, soon followed by a snicker.

Reki took a few bites before even getting a chance to taste it. He bounced back to the kitchen to get more, radiating joy and excitement. Langa could tell he liked them. They tasted nice, like any other maple cookie. Langa was just as obsessed with food as Reki was but these werent as good as he thought they would be.

"You can have them." Langa declined the three cookies being handed to him by the redhead. "More for me!" He cheered, stuffing another one in his mouth. Langa shook his head with a small smile, grabbing another snack out of the bag.

Reki munched on a few cookies, chugging some water to help it go down. Half the cookies already disappeared by the time Langa had blinked. "Take your time, Reki. Youre acting like this is your first meal in years." He stated with a smile, lifting the redheads chin and swiping some crumbs off his cheek. Reki gave him a proud smile and kissed his palm.

"You know, you 'dont know' how to kiss but you're really good at flirting." He pointed out while ruffling Langas hair. Whatever he just did was super cute and made him feel all bubbly inside. Langa paused for a seconds before swatting his friend's hand away from his hair. "Am not. Shush."

"You are! I'm not taking any other opinions. You've flirted with me so much, you dont even realize it. I dont think you call your friends 'Princess' and the occasional pet name or two~" Reki pointed out with a teasing smirk, putting the cookies back into the bag before he ended up eating all of them.

"Oh, I'll show you flirting, idiot." Langa rolled his eyes with an embarrassed huff, picking the boy up by the waist and setting him up on the countertop. Reki wrapped his arms around his neck and his legs around his torso with a small smirk. "Oh? Langa is getting a lil too confident I see?" He teased, ignoring the harsh blush spreading on his face.

The teen ignored his remark, coming up with his own comeback. Or, well, trying too without panicking.

"I dont think 'friends' kiss like we did, Reki. I mean, you didnt even say 'no homo'" Langa let out a disappointed sigh, shaking his head. "I- Well- Uh...YOU didnt say it either. So-- there!!" Reki crossed his arms over his chest with a frown. "What's your excuse now, Lover boy?" He finished with giving Langa's head a playful chop.

Well, He was right. He didnt have an excuse either. While thinking up one he got distracted by the sound of the front door opening. He freaked out for a second, his mind going straight to 'protect Reki' mode. He was relieved so hear his mom's usual hum of "Im homeeee~"

In one swift movement he took Reki down from the counter and back to the ground. It would be an awkward situation to explain if Nanako saw the current way they were situated. Reki let out a small whine after being picked up but kept to himself.

Nanako pulled out her ponytail, letting out a sigh of pure relief. It was so good to be home, especially being let out earlier than she had been told.

"Welcome home, mom." Langa dragged the redhead over to the front door to meet his mom. She didnt properly know him. She was never introduced to him since, when they would have sleepovers, she would come super late. She let out a small gasp of excitement once laying her eyes on the redhead.

"Sorry for not introducing him properly earlier. Mom, Reki. Reki, mom."

Reki smiled and held out his hand. "Nice to finally meet you Mrs. Hasegawa." He chimed. Nanako already liked this boy. He seemed nice, and she only knew a few things about him. She's seen him meet up with Langa a few times, it was the only time she ever saw her son smile.

"So you're the special boy my son talks about all the time!! Nice to meet you dear." As a mom it was her duty to tease and embarrass her son. Reki shot Langa a look, one that was happy but worried. "All good things, all good things." The woman soothed, patting the red fluff of Langas so called 'Best friend'.

Langas face lit up for a second. "If youre hungry I made dinner for you just in case." Nanako smiled, kissing his forehead. "Thank you, dear. Im going to unwind for a little first." She nodded at her room, setting her bag down on the kitchen table. "I had a rough day."

Langa nodded, giving her a small hug, Reki followed too. Nanako giggled and hug the two, kissing the top of their heads. "You boys have fun. Dont let me be a bother."

...

"Again."

Reki scoffed at the sudden request, taking a small sip of his energy drink. They were still down in the kitchen, sitting back in the living room. They settled on a movie while they ate through some snacks. Let's just say the cookies didnt stand a chance agaisnt the red head.

The movie had got to a boring part, making both boys impatient and bored.

"You have to earn it." Reki crossed his legs, sitting his drink in his lap. Langa wanted to try another kiss but Reki found teasing and making him wait more fun. "I dont just give those out ya know."

Langa frowned, more of a pout than anything. He just wanted to try it again. It was Reki's fault for getting him hooked in the first place. "You shouldve thought about that before carelessly asking to teach me."

Reki looked over at him with an eyebrow raised. "Attitude will get you nowhere."

"What are you? My mom?" Langa mocked Reki's previous statement from earlier, tightening his hoodie strings. He stole one of Reki's older hoodies when having  sleep over at his house. Reki didnt seem to care to much and let him.

Reki rolled his eyes, tugging on Langas hood that was tightened over his face. "Are you pouting? Geez. You're such a child."

"And you're a jerk."

"How dare you say such rude things! Youre grounded Langa Kyan!" Reki declared, laughing soon after. Langa started doing it first but when arguing they would add their last names to each others.

"Reki Hasegawa sounds better." Langa retorted while continuing to tighten his hoodie strings so Reki couldnt see his face. Reki's laughs turned to giggles. "You look ridiculous, cmon you wont get a kiss if you hide your face."

"Fine."
