Marinette awoke from her slumber in a unfamiliar room. She got up and stretched a bit before observing the room. She saw a note on the bedside table.
Good morning petite coccinelle,
I hope you had a good rest. Come on down when you are awake for breakfast.Your godfather,
AlfredMarinette smiled at the note and stepped out of bed. It was nice to know that someone still accepted her. She owes her godfather everything. She looked around once more and saw an outfit just her size laid out for her on a chair. She quickly put it on and headed towards the stairs near her, surprisingly, she didn't get lost.
When she entered the dining room, she could see the kwamis happily munching away on some food.
"Good morning," she greeted and was answered by those on the table.
"Good morning mon cher," Alfred said as he entered the room, "It looks like the clothes fit nicely."
Marinette gave a small hum of agreement, "Thanks for these, Parrain, can I help with anything?"
"You can help by having breakfast, I do not want you to go on your day with an empty stomach," Alfred answered sitting her down on the big table, "I'll get your food."
"But-" Marinette protested only to realize Alfred was already out of the room.
She sighed and glanced at everyone at the table, "Um... Hi, I'm Marinette. I'm sorry but I don't know who the most of your are."
"Well I'm Dick," a boy said enthusiastically, "Nice to meet you little lady."
"I'm Jason," the one with the white streak of hair said, "The one that looks like he's about to pass out is Tim."
"Damian, Damian Wayne," a the only green eyed person told her.
Damian looked into her eyes and despite them being blue, the same color everyone else in his family had, there was something different about hers. It pulled him in and he didn't know why. He felt his heart flutter when she pouted as Alfred said she couldn't help him, saying something along the lines of, "You just fell from the sky yesterday looking extremely exhausted, there's absolutely no way I'm letting you overwork yourself today."
"We can go around town and have a little tour?" Dick suggested, snapping Damian out of his thoughts, "You three are coming, no excuses. It'll be a great bonding time for all of us!"
Surprisingly, Damian felt like he didn't mind. In fact, he was quite looking forward to spending some time with their guest.
