It was three days later when Taehyung received the invitation. An invitation to one of the annual conference party's which allowed a plus one. Usually, Taehyung took Naeyon, his secretary as the plus one because he didn't have anyone else.

This time, there was going to be a change in the plans. He wanted to take Jeungguk along, but it was going to be war. Convincing the younger to do something he didn't want was calling war upon oneself. He was stubborn like that.

But Taehyung was also no less. He wanted Jeungguk to come along and so he would. Even if he had to roll on the other's feet, he would do it. And so we find Taehyung, standing in front of their bedroom door, mentally preparing himself for what is to come.

" what happened? Why are you standing outside?" Jeungguk asked as he had opened the door to the bedroom from inside. Taehyung was now nervous to ask what he had wanted to.

So he just shrugs as he enters the room and heads straight to the bed as well. He had forgotten about changing into his pyjamas and had gotten on the bed with his work suit. This didn't go unnoticed by Jeungguk as well. And so, he closed the door and gently sat beside Taehyung, who was too busy in his thoughts to notice.

"Tell me what happened Tae," Jeungguk asked again as he now discarded his fingers through the blonde hair. He loved doing the said action. But always found himself being more satisfied when the action was done on him rather than the other way around.

"I wanted something from you. No. More like, want you to do something for me." Taehyung said without thinking any further. It was worth a shot at least. He wasn't going to back down without trying. Jeungguk only nodded his head and expected Taehyung to continue.

He sensed the hesitation the other had in his voice and so he spoke, "Whatever it is. If I can do it, I will lemon. So don't think about anything else and just tell me what it is that is bothering you." Taehyung could only nod at that.

Like Jeungguk had said, he didn't think any further about it and just asked what was on his mind. "I have an annual gala to attend and I wanted to take you as my plus one. Please don't say no!" Taehyung said it all in one breath.

"lemon, that is a no. I cannot attend any meets of that type and you know it." Jeungguk was also quick to refuse in the same breath. This wasn't going to end well. Taehyung thought as he pulled out his puppy eyes.

"Please! I have never asked you for anything else. I won't ask you for anything else in the future also. Please, just this once you come with me!" Taehyung pleased again. His puppy eyes making Jeungguk question his existence as he could feel his control slip away.

He shook his head off as he replied with a no again. "This isn't up for negotiation. I would do anything for you Tae, but not attend a crowded place." Jeungguk said as he still refused to give in.
