Mr Golds POV~

She left quickly after dinner thanking the maids and heading out herself.

"Quite confident that one" I commented.

"She's a Fellar" Arthur spoke in a stern tone taking a large swig out of the glass in his hand.

"So you have history with the family" looking towards Tommy.

"We do Mr Gold but it seems as though you have something to ask" gripping his drink.

The door opened and polly entered cigarette in hand.

"They protect her like a sister Mr Gold so be careful with your word choice or you might go home with one or two less fingers" she smirked taking a seat.

"The lady speaks no lies" Arthur spoke once more.

"And how does such a young girl take control of such a large and may I say dangerous operation"

"It's family work so it had to stay within the family and Riley was there to fill that role" Mr Thomas Shelby explained.

"I see Mr Shelby"

"Anything else you have to ask Mr Gold" Thomas questioned.

"Only one more Mr Shelby I can tell this is quite a touchy subject"

He wasn't going to like this one.

"Ask away" he spoke in a slightly sarcastic tone.

I have bonnie a nudge with my elbow.

"I'd like to ask her out sir me and my dad here were wondering if she is with someone" bookie spoke quickly making sure to get every word in before any shelbys could object.

" not that its any of your business" the youngest shelby got in first.

"Why's that" bonnie turned his head in the boys direction.

"By the sound of it none of you seem to know" the boy seemed quite cocky.

"I've known her since we were kids" he sat back in his seat he'd thought he had won this.

"So your good friends" I could see where my son was going with this.

"You could say" the confident boy was now a bit uneasy.

"So that's it settled then" I spoke standing up pulling bonnie by his shirt.

"He'll ask the girl out" walking away feeling the eyes glued to my back as I made my way out.

The shelbys weren't going to like it especially the youngest one who seems to have some strong feeling about the whole situation.

This girl is perfect and my son will be able to give her what she wants I'm sure of it.

The girl is a stubborn one but I'm sure the training will bring them closer and the shelbys won't be able to get in the way of that.

She'd be good for the family.

Narrators POV~

"The fucking cheek" Finn called out pacing around the room clearly thinking out loud.

"Watch your language Finn" polly scolded him.

"You can't just claim someone like a fucking animal" he carried on.

"FINN" polly wasn't happy.

"Polly" he answered snapping out of his fit of rage.

"Don't you use that tone with me boy"

He quieted down.

"He's going to make a deal" Tommy spoke clearly not looking at anyone keeping his eyes focused at the floor in front of him.

"What do you mean by a deal Tommy" Arthur walked back into the room.

"Deal brother" he sighed.

"He's going to threaten leaving us un-protected unless his son can have a shot with young Riley"

"But he can't just pull something like that without the girl knowing" Arthur was confused.

"I'm afraid he can"

They all went quiet because Thomas was right he will threaten all of their safety because he could he has no reason to feel bad for their deaths, who would be left to threaten him of the peaky blinders were dead.

The Shelbys knew this so they had to be cautious of what came out of their mouths.

Finn hated the idea of giving her away for his safety along with his family's but it was the most logical thing to do.

Just because it's logical doesn't always mean it's right and it wasn't.

Finn found it hard to hide his emotions when he didn't agree with something and that is exactly what happened when he realised that Tommy was in fact right as per usual and there was absolutely nothing he could say or do to change their minds.

He sulked off.

Sulking off wasn't an option for Tommy although at the time he didn't want to do something so much in his life.

Selling out his dead friends sister felt awful but his family was at risk because of him and it was all up to Mr Gold now.

Thomas never liked in fact he hated needing others especially when it came to things like protection.

But he would have to bite his tongue for the time being because now wasn't the time to be stubborn.

His son had already lost his mother and he didn't want him to have the same childhood as him as his brothers.

Un-known to the Shelby's Riley already knew about Mr Golds dick move of a deal and she had a lot of feelings about it and she was going to do anything it took to keep that boy from getting to her or asking her out.

She'd rather die than be sold out to the Gold family.

Short one but I'm camping at the moment and didn't really have anytime.

Mr Golds son is called bonnie I didn't even know when I was watching it coz they always just called him fighter or son ect but that's what it is if you didn't know
