Chapter 1

Hey there! I'm Kia you know like the car :) anyway I'm 14 I live in the uk and I'm what people call 'emo' my hair is black with a turquoise fringe with purple in it I love my hair and it's in an emo style I have dark chocolate eyes that turn black when I'm angry I'm skinny and pale I have one friend Megan, I don't cut erm I have social anxiety and mild depression, I play piano, violin and drums and I was put into the orphanage I little over a year ago after my parents died in a crash

Flashback

We were driving back from a horse show I was sitting in the back with my friend Jana we have both won our classes and were ecstatic, Jana had taken my smaller pony who was 13.3hh and she was smaller than me and I had taken my new horse who was 15.3hh, my parents were driving we had the trailer on the back with the two horses in me and Jana were just talking about some of the horses we had seen that day an the upcoming cross country I was taking her mums 'old bird' to (older horse) and how excited I was we soon were both curled up on the back seat asleep we looked like dominoes literally all of a sudden I woke to a flashing light shout and screams an a large unholy sound that made my ears hurt the blackness I woke in my car but it was on upside down I looked around my parents were bleeding badly I screamed blood murder then I remembered what Lucy told me (the yard vet) 'in an emergency check the pulse' I checked all there pulses the only one alive was Jana I kicked the window until it smashe tears streaming down my face suddenly the window smashed and I crawled out with Jana in my arms I took in our surroundings there was a truck on its side I layed Jana on the road and climbed back in the car to find the first aid kit I bandaged her cuts she was passed out then I remember the horse I looked at the trailer and what I saw will haunt me forever it was banged up badly I knew they wouldn't of survived when my parents didn't the I saw the blood everywhere the I saw my horses head poking out of the jockey door thankfully still attached to the body but dead an lifeless I saw people running towards us I just collapsed and let the darkness consume me I had nothing left to live for.....I woke up in a hospital room hooked up to a bunch of wires I just layed there shocked a few weeks later I was taken to Ms.Brindleys home for girls I was just 13 at the time.i never saw Jana again I don't know what happened to her.

So basically I have been traumatised since that day and Megan was the only one who understood my pain she lost her mother father and brother In a car accident but she wasn't in it because she was in school.Megan had naturally blonde hair in the same style as me and had a faded rainbow fringe and has blue/grey eyes she is skinny too In fact were the same size but she is very tan, we share a room we like the same bands and are like twins and most of all we look out for each other basically she is the mouth I'm the fighter people know not to mess with me basically I don't give a shit anymore! Okay guys so that's it!
