Chapter 8

- Yj pov -

When I look out the window I see Y/N and Soobin talking.

I wonder what they're talking about.

I wonder what Y/N thinks about me, she must think I'm some sort of weirdo or something.

I mean I don't blame her.

Why do I even care what she thinks?! Ugh, she better not tell anyone.

She wouldn't... right?

Ugh, I need to stop thinking.

I'll just sleep or whatever.

- Y/N pov -

As we're walking to my house Soobin asks me

''I heard that before you went to school here. You went to some high-class rich school. Was it really that high class?''

''Well, about that... I'm not sure if the school was that fancy as they said it was but it was definitely above average. ''

''Oh, but still. It must be expensive.''

''I'm pretty sure it was because my uncle paid for it until my parents divorced and my mom moved.''

''Oh.. I didn't know that your parents divorced I'm sorry for asking.''

''Oh no it's fine! They were fighting all the time so I knew it was for the best and I didn't see my dad a lot anyways. He always had to work and he didn't even know about my last school.''

There falls an awkward silence, when I look at Soobin I can see that he has no idea what to say.

''Soo... what about your parents? How did they meet? It is something romantic?''

''...''

''Oh, you don't have to answer if you don't want to.''

''Oh sorry, It isn't that I was just thinking,'' he says while looking down.

I can see that something is bothering him so I ask ''Soobin is something wrong? I know we don't know each other for that long but if you need a listening ear I'm here.''

''Well... I was just wondering how Yeonjun is doing. Even tho he might not be the best brother, he is still my brother and he takes these things pretty heavy.''

''Don't try to worry too much, we can't do anything right now. As you said before it's the best to give him some time. So please don't worry too much.'' I say trying to comfort him.

''Thank you for comforting me. And sorry for bothering you with my bad mood.''

''Let's try to take our mind off of it and- Oh look we're at my house!'' I say pointing to my oh-so-familiar house.

Even tho I haven't lived here for a long time it feels like it has been decades.

I see my mom sitting inside waving at us.

''Is that your mom?''

''Yes, please don't mind her bad taste in fashion. I love her but her taste in fashion makes me wanna pull out my eyeballs. Please don't tell her I said that.''

''Oh don't worry I won't and she looks really nice.''

''Yeah she is, I sometimes wonder how she doesn't hate me. But enough talking let's go inside.'' I say stepping into my front yard.

When I open the door I see my mom looking at me with a smile on her face.

''Hello Y/N and hello ..?''

''Soobin, his name is Soobin mom.''

I've decided to forgive my mom for not being there when I was younger. I can't stay mad forever and I probably would've done the same if I was her.

''Hello Soobin, I am Y/N's mom! But you can call me Alice,'' she says while looking at us with a smile.

''It's nice to meet you, ma'am, you guys have a beautiful house.''

''Thank you! Wow Y/N I never thought you would end up with such a polite boyfriend!''

''MOM! HE IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND!'' I say while my head turns red.

When I look beside my I see Soobin with a tomato head, it's almost like he ate hot sauce.

''Oh, I'm sorry!''

''Oh it's fine Ma'am- I mean Alice.''

''Oh well, do you guys want something to eat or something to drink?''

''Yes, I'd like fries and soda!'' I say excited.

''Young lady what did I tell you! Your guests always come first!''

''Yes yes, What do you want Soobin?''

''I'd like whatever you want''

''I guess your lucky today, you guys can go upstairs and I'll make the food.''

''Let's gooo'' I say while grabbing his arm and dragging him upstairs.

When we walk into my room Soobin says ''So, do you have anything you want to do?''

''Silly boy, I should be the one asking that question. Is there anything you want to do?''

''Watch a movie? I heard there was this cool one called 'the star seekers' I've been wanting to see it for a while now.''

''Oh yeah, I heard that it was pretty cool. Let's see it.'' I say while starting my tv.

After I start the movie I sit down next to Soobin on the not-so-white-anymore coach they bought for me after I arrived.

After we are 10 minutes into the movie the bell suddenly rings...
