No one would have guessed that Xavier would actually like Amelia, but he did for the same reason why she liked him. The easiness between them and the laughs their shared, they had so many things in common it was like they were the same. He show her places she never seen and she showed him the beauty in the little things.
Even their parents became friends, which made it easier for them to hang out. At school it was a little harder because of their schedule, but he always tried to find her and walked her to class, and she would always wait for him, she actually didn't expect him to be that sweet. She realized she judged him too quickly like everybody does to her and she hated it, but it was a normal thing to do.
All the girls at school would stare at her in hate and jealousy, but she didn't mind because she was the one with the cute and sweet friend.
They still only had each other and was still okay about that. One problem with Amelia was that she had "friends" that just didn't talk to her that much and some of them were guys. She had trouble when it came to telling if a guy liked her or not, but some of them did and thought she was already taken. She only liked one of them back and that was the one who never talked to her again. She felt like she was losing her little world over nothing.
